Here's my new Soma Rush 08. Here's a list of components:

-59 cm Soma Rush 08 frame in pearl white
-Chrome straight blade fork. Not the one that comes with a Rush
-Campagnolo Record Headset
-No name chrome stem
-some old sweep back flat bars that I had
-no name chrome seat post
-Brooks Pre-Aged B-17 saddle
-Orange Velocity Deep V's laced to steel blue Milwaukee hubs
-Planet Bike Race Blade fenders for the winter
-Sugino bottom bracket
-Sugino crank set

It has 46-15 gearing which isn't too bad for the city of Milwaukee. Got bored today because it's -31 degrees outside today with the windchill, so I took these pictures. Enjoy.

You wouldn't happen to know a Devin Arch in Milwaukee would you? he has a Pink Bianchi roadie and a chrome Raleigh fixed gear. He goes to MIAD. Just thought you may have rode with him at one time.

Joshua88 02-10-08 05:07 PM

Yeah I know him. We have a thursday night bike ride in Milwaukee, and I've ridden with him on that a few times. Nice guy.

Sometimes necessary if you're drinking Blue Moon.

wroomwroomoops 02-10-08 09:12 PM

This my Bianchi Pista, not younger than 2001. Except for the seatpost, headset and hubs nothing is stock!

That's the only Pista I've seen that looks like one I'd be willing to ride...minus the brakes

804RVA 02-10-08 09:51 PM

finally got my new wheelset (yes I know it looks like a coffee bike, but I ride it and like it)

so sexy! what kind of cranks are on your Pista?

I don't know what kind of fork it is. They had a bunch of them at yellow jersey, and it was a little cheaper than the soma fork. I kinda wanted a straight blade anyways. It has the same rake as the soma fork too, so it didn't change the handling at all.

Hey all. Stumbled upon the site while looking for fixie pics.

Here's my whip. It's my first roadbike/fixie build. The frame is a Bertolli or something similar sounding. I forgot to save the stickers. Rims are Saavedra tubulars with a track hub out back. Campy cranks (which obviously aren't on). I stripped the paint, cut off all the lugs for shifter stuff, cables and water cages and brazed the holes. Then I took a DA sander to the frame and did a little detailing to the frame then cleared it. Looks pretty cool in the sun. Bullhorned the stock bars and threw an old school BMX MX brake lever on. Here's a couple pics.
