Found a frame that fit me better and transfered all my components over from my Motobecane.
The seat angle looks odd, but hey it's a Brooks, and Brooks is murder...on me if I don't angle it up a bit. I'll but some before pictures over in the conversion thread. http://i42.photobucket.com/albums/e3...k/DSCN3377.jpg http://i42.photobucket.com/albums/e3...k/DSCN3380.jpg |
This is my Cayne uno the complete bike cost me 450
I got a new set of wheels with a fixed/fixed hub(though im only running one cog right now), new tires. I'am currently using an ugly as saddle which is a little better than the one that comes with the bike. If some one has a good condition used san marco rolls or regal saddle let me know im tired of battling with other ebay members. http://i25.tinypic.com/11kwhht.jpg http://i32.tinypic.com/dzgh2s.jpg |

looks super nice, but somehow I think stems with less drop look better with bullhorns....track drops and that stem would look great..... great frame though!

Are those 35s? Do you ride it fixed? How is skidding with those?

yup it's fixed and has 35s. they are pretty nice to skid on. a soft feel to them in a good way
I have a 28c Randonneur on my other bike, and am considering putting one on the front as well, the streets here in SF are pretty gnarly. |
randos are awesome in back, but for the front a bontrager racelite hardcase is really ****ing durable and is cheaper. i think.

Yup I feel the same. I wish I had a Pearl 8. The top tube is longer than my last bike and I didn't have many shorter stems on hand. I went from Pearl 10 to 9 to NJ Pro 90mm to the NJ Pro 80mm in the pic and now it fits good.
last time I checked Kalavinka had a bunch of these in 70mm/ 26.0, the 25.4s are all gone..... http://www.kalavinka-bikes.com/image/sale/nitto65_1.jpg |

Sweet, thanks for the info. I just picked up a Mark V Pro and I want to run some nice phattie tires. I also got a pretty sweet disc-only carbon fork to use with it as well. I dont plan on doing any serious offroad stuff, but want a go-anywhere-do-anything bike.

This is a nice bike. I like how the rims and chainring seem to have a similar theme, and the painted bars look nice, too. A very well thought out build, I would say. |

That bike looks good. Post it. Do u have part of the text covered up or painted over? Your bike actually got me thinking about getting one of those while I was riding home. |

Sorry if it's not obvious, but if you click the pic - you'll see all all the glorious details. Ride safe. *TC http://www.fyxomatosis.com/images/news/mc_1.jpg |
