so you had all that money for fancy wheels but you couldn't be bothered to throw it on a track frame huh? wow...

Cantaloupe 03-07-08 02:13 AM

Uncomfortable to ride 30+ miles with a track frame on the Reg, Love the comfort of my road frame

Your fork looks like it has been in a crash. You normally don't see the fork legs angle backwards from the head tube. Is it my imagination?

okay 03-07-08 02:25 AM

why not just buy a better frame? plus the louis vuitton pad is a little unnecessary, and imo the white and red color combination is pretty ugly.

Cantaloupe 03-07-08 02:41 AM

The Frame is light, strong, reynolds steel and is a Louis Vuitton pad ever necessary? imo your ugly

kludge 03-07-08 02:57 AM

it is a bicycle.
it has two wheels.

That bike is a janky piece of ****. We need more Mr. White bikes, and fewer of these stupid "y'all haters" conversions.

barba 03-07-08 06:59 AM

Louis Vuitton makes tube pads?

Weeelll, I actually quite like colors of your bike, wouldn't ride that myself but I find the color combo somehow pleasing. To me the problem is the frame, like someone said already, why road frame with all those components?

If you wanna go all out on this type of hipster-ish build, you need a track frame. It's simple as that.

thrashin 03-07-08 08:10 AM

that condor is hideous

Yep, cos the most important thing for a street ride is to have a track frame. Don't get me wrong, I have a track bike, but lets not pretend that road frames are not more suitable in some ways. You can find plenty else to hate about that bike without getting stupid about the dropouts and a couple of degrees of geometry.

because an aerospoke is best for the street.
he built that bike for looks not for commuting if he says other wise he is lying, don't get me wrong I have all the crazy **** on my bikes too, but to say it because its more practical is just stupid.
Iro is a road geometry,most surlys,masis,ect.ect....lame excuse.

but I do like the big black cock in the back round.

what no hens

I have to agree.not my favorite build.
I think an aerospokes on conversion look wrong.
like 22" rims on a 64 Impala...just wrong

My low-budget conversion. I love it; 52-17 is quick and the stratos bars offer excellent hand positions.
