Those Leader bikes are so ugly. I'm always talking people out of buying those damn things.

I think the 2008 735TR are starting to grow on me. Of course the decals are hideously large, but other than that I wouldn't mind having one. The 720TR on the other hand is indeed fugly.

Nana nana nana nana LEADER!!!

edit - Why weren't you at bike polo today mike?

My New (to me) 1982 Sun Solo

Was originally a 10 speed, and I removed all the multi speed parts, and respaced the wheel, and it rides like a dream.

Fixed gear is more addictive than you think :)

That which we call a Leader, by any other name would look as horrible.

Tell whoever that is that riding a bike with eyes closed is uber safe.

the 735's look decent in my opinion. they should make one in creamcicle orange, I would buy it in a heartbeat.

What gear is that?

evoke0ne 04-06-08 04:29 PM

Hmm...that leader looks proportionate at least...most of the other bikes just dont look right geometrically...

But yes...Sight might be a good idea seeing as you dont have breaks or a helmet

50 x 18. The Zen rings tend to give the illusion of being larger than they are given the solid sides.

paulwwalters 04-06-08 05:14 PM

Thriller: Unless it's fixed gear (you said it was only SS) then I would leave the rear brake on. But it's your neck.

Woah, has that got track dropouts? With rear brake cable guides and bottle cage holes. Interesting. Very interesting. I'm pretty jealous!

Here's some links from the Serotta forum for a cool story on some guy getting a Nagasawa frame made and having dinner with the man himself:

Check out Nagasawa's signature:

My new conversion is all done:

Zombie Carl 04-06-08 05:52 PM

fixed?

pdx_climber 04-06-08 06:00 PM

Single for now, but I'm picking up a fixed cog this week and losing the rear brake. The rear is a pain in the ass anyways with the eccentric hub.

diff_lock2 04-06-08 06:00 PM

Looks like 26" wheels on that ORBEA.
