Awesome bike Teadoggg. So how much did it cost to replace the bearings?

Thanks, its a very nice ride.

It has suffered minor changes like replaced the Zocchi EXR with a Manitou Black Super and an Azonic WF 2" riser bar.

if you get them from philwood they're $5/bearing. I would imagine others are similarly priced.

What's wrong with the bearings they come with? I guess I could always replace the original Nashbar bearings later right?

I think those hubs look nice.

oh, totally. the bearings that come with it are still very nice. I just wanted to upgrade now while I had everything torn apart. Yeah, i think the hubs look good.

Great, I'm really excited about my bike now, hopefully I get some pictures up by this weekend. Dokushoka helped me paint it, and it looks great. We put a magenta color onto it and in the sun it looks GREAT! The chrome really shines now too. I think y'all will like my bike, I've never seen any frame like it. It's got 2 devil's tails on the downtube. :-D

Galaxy Frame Freewheel. I'm slowly buying better parts for it. Next step is either a new seat or a new crank set. Haven't decided which yet. Only Original parts left are the brakes, the frame/fork, crankset, the handlebars, and the front wheel.

Finally got paid and got my new saddle today. A Selle Italia SLR yo. I'm also including a pic of the wheel I built up for my room mate's ride, all nice and mounted.

A couple of my former loves
Early '80s Bianchi Pista. Too small for me...http://davidmires.smugmug.com/photos/28493325-M.jpg

Early '70s Merckx/Colnago. Too pretty and valuable for me to risk crashing :(

Yes, that Colnago is something else, it was incredible to ride. I had to sell it though, I just wouldn't be able to live with myself if I ever bent it :(
Besides, it was a tiny bit too small for me (56)

sold on ebay for $2000
Some people are nuts, huh?
The $2000 was a "buy it now" price. I just kind of threw it out there, I didn't really expect it to go for that.
I actually MADE money on that bike...

Living in Pasadena, TX, but connect the dots from Austin to Conroe to Kemah to Galveston to Sargent to Canyon Lake, then back to Austin. That is my backyard, bound to be found riding and or drinkin somewhere in that circle.
