i didnt mean that in a bad way. i meant it in a "damn, you have an incredible stable" way.
my friend peter (poopncow) has a pretty awesome stable as well. i took some pictures of four of his bikes, they are on my flickr.

So wait, your bike is built with mash hub, and a mash headbadge, but you're not involved in mash? (or are you) Not trying to be an a$$hole, but what's up with that?

He wants a piece of the pie when it blows up. Whenever the MASH dudes are out of town filming and the local newspapers want to interview a MASH-ite to see what's going on in the underground, they'll see him meandering by the newsroom and pull him aside for an exclusive.

Reporter: "SO, WAT'S IT LIKE TO RIDE A BICICLE??"
Spendy Fellow from LA: "Well dude, my artistic vision must've blinded you into submission because i don't ride, I glide...rather, I MASH."
R: "TROOER WORDS CAN'T BE SPOKEN."
SFFLA: "C ya, gotta be hyphy wid my crew at the parking lot."

you know what I liked riding fixed alot. but after seeing that mash ***** it inspired me to f@#ck around alot more and I love that ***** don't get me wrong I like to just ride my rides but this bike was build just for f@#cking around on aluminum kills me on longer rides the sticker mostly ties in the the hub as for as color goes.
And I wanna support something that inspires fun in my life, cause I'm generally a cranky a$$ and this sh1t bring out the kid in me HOllA!
don't think your being an a$$.

as for the guy with the BASSo avatar....what up with that? just the bike you ride? but this is the interweb
and you are representing cause you like it.true?

yea I'm an old f@#cker that likes to f@ck around in parking lots mostly after a long ride but sometimes not.

and yea my dream is to be on film come on man.

love to all. got to go work so i can get more bikes

is that a magic gear? if so how's it working out for you?

edit: on second glance, that axle looks pretty eccentric.

This thing looks a lot like a Cannondale to me. Am I crazy?

I think it probably is. Search the roadie forum for the carbonello thread.

jim-bob 02-28-07 11:06 AM

Those dropouts stink of cannondale.

The LT 02-28-07 11:08 AM

that chainstay looks dented pretty bad

yup, just like other cdales. for chainring clearance.

edit: at least the first dent is for that. seems impossible that a ring could reach that second dent.

Looks like a Cannondale to me as well. The dropouts are pretty distinctive, and I can't imagine anyone copying that design at this point. I kind of like the ride of old Cannondale frames. One person's "harsh" is another's "lively".

dutret 02-28-07 11:31 AM

crank more exactly I guess.

Does anyone remember what the point of those dropouts was?

jim-bob 02-28-07 11:33 AM

I think they claimed that cantilevering the axle out there would actually buy you some comfort.

That or they did it because gary klein wasn't, I dunno.

DoshKel 02-28-07 11:33 AM

Ryan. Your friend's Basso is so nice!

ryand 02-28-07 11:39 AM

Yeah it is. The guy couldn't find the original fork when he was buying it, so he gave him that chrome Colnago fork instead. Same price. Expect a PM with exciting news.

PS- I'm surprised nobody reminded me this was the "SSFG" section and to "post the road bike in the post your road bike thread of the roadie section".

DoshKel 02-28-07 11:42 AM

Yea I noticed the fork. Shame, but that fork fits amazingly.

No one can challenge a bike like that. It would be tasteless haha.

Ha, Bluechip posted in that thread saying he would put the stickers on his Cannondale FG.

For those who don't want to search the roadie threads (I need a shower now): They are decals from an anti-carbon advertising campaign by Litespeed. It's kind of a shot at all of the hundreds of carbon bike makers out there, and the accent on the "e" makes it oriented at Cervelo.
