Get rid of the masterlink.

One day you'll lose the bolt on the other side and wonder where your chain went. It's not worth it. If you're on the track then cool, but if you're on the road, ditch it.

onetwentyeight 04-28-07 11:19 AM

ive been riding with the njs masterlink for 2 years now with no problem. the screw seems to thread on to the link, not just the bolt on the reverse. seems lke a pretty solid design.

Die, no way, I skitched from this car a week and a half ago, going down the parkway, heading out to kelly drive. The woman driving was on her cell phone, and I caught up with her car as soon as she hit the parkway, she never saw me. I caught a hold of the rear passenger wheel well, and she hit every green light towards the art museum. Ended up hitting like 40-45, no joke.

if anyone on here's from boston, and knows b-fresh, ask him about my skitching stories from when I was living in boston.

well, it was more that you have a big gear and platforms that had me worried. a big gear would be great for skitching, i guess, yeah.

edit: and guerilla idiom, i wasn't referring to the skitching so much as big gear/platforms, but i see now that's not a stopping problem for you.

DoshKel 04-28-07 11:43 AM

Skitching with a skateboard is better than cake, and cake is ****ing great.

Granted, I do ride a freewheel, and have been since my last major car accident in october. And some knee problems ever since

edit: I have been riding clipless/fixed for work and for myself for atleast like 5/6 years or so, and it hasn't helped my knees much either.

I'm getting up there, with the number of times I've been involved with traffic accidents[no, none of them were my fault].

guerillaidiom 04-28-07 01:56 PM

jacobpriest 04-28-07 03:40 PM

very nice.

diff_lock2 04-28-07 03:41 PM

Nice rims. (and over all bike)

You should try a black riser, with white grips. And dono about the seat post or hubs..

doofo 04-28-07 03:42 PM

i like the purpy but not the gold

diff_lock2 04-28-07 03:49 PM

What frame is that, its steep, yet large. It looks even better now that i take an other look.

johnprolly 04-28-07 04:18 PM

Yeah I'm still deciding between Mavic Ellipse or black paul laced to purple [or white] deep v's.

It's a 2000? KHS Flite. Rides like a dream.

those arent my wheels, theyre my friend dave's. I'll definitely vouch for him though, good friend and seller. you might want to add him as a favorite seller, he has the largest collection of track parts I have ever seen. hes been selling alot lately

as far as the master link goes, I check it every now and then just to make sure it isnt coming loose. i have been riding it for over a year and never had a problem.

it took me a sec to figure out how that brake is mounted from that angle it looks like its mounted on the right horn.

bonechilling 04-28-07 06:10 PM

That may be the first Motobecane eBay-Special that
I've liked. Just a good looking, practical bike.

Finally.

50cm pana.
Parts. Bunch of njs stuff that I got from japanland. Then I thought it looked boring and getting ***** by the fivegold wasn't for me. So i added some colour. Mutts are smarter anyway.

bikeage 04-28-07 07:41 PM

I'm really digging all the bikes that have been posted within the past 2 days.
nice!

bonechilling 04-28-07 08:09 PM

I like the Panasonic, and I totally understand wanting
to run a brake, but I sort of hate unicrown forks on
lugged steel bikes like that.

Oh, but if you ever want to dump that frame, let me
know. 50cm is my size.

TheDean 04-28-07 08:51 PM

okay here is the first post of the Mino Denti. It still has some work left on it but its just about finished. I would like to give it a fresh powder coat of orange sometime this summer.

Oh and this photo was taken at 10:30 at night in my spare bedroom so the colors are a bit blah, I will take a better picture when I have the time!
