That saddle is also set pretty high which makes me think that someone should send it to me since I ride a 54 and the Bianchi in my basement is too tall for me. :D |
Haha- the saddle is really comfy. Not brooks comfy, but it does the job. Funny thing about the saddle- When I bought the frame it came with the seat and seat post, but the saddle was covered w/ this cheap-o OB cover. I was quite pleased when I took it off.

I feel like I have to make general comment about saddle angle and bike fit. First I should qualify a couple of things. I sell bikes for a living. With selling bikes comes fitting people to their bikes. I have received training and I am certified to bike fit and have done so successfully for many many people. I fit people for non injurous cycling. Riding a bike is an activity of repetition and insuring someone does not case undue wear or injury is my first priority. Anyhoo there really never is any good reason to have a saddle on an angle other than level. It pains me to see it. There I've said it.
Okay a Brooks small tilt back being the exception. |
source you know your ride just made it rise from 6 to midnight! Awesome ride!

Here's my more-often ridden fixed; I'm not 100% sure what the frame is, but its an old touring model with an aftermarket chrome job and all of the braze-ons shaved. Please forgive the bar taping job.

Having a miniscule amount isn't really the point.
It will wear the parts prematurely as it is. Its undebatable. plus a slack chain runs so much smoother. |
