You know... you're right.

That saddle is also set pretty high which makes me think that someone should send it to me since I ride a 54 and the Bianchi in my basement is too tall for me.

:D

Haha- the saddle is really comfy. Not brooks comfy, but it does the job. Funny thing about the saddle- When I bought the frame it came with the seat and seat post, but the saddle was covered w/ this cheap-o OB cover. I was quite pleased when I took it off.

I feel like I have to make general comment about saddle angle and bike fit. First I should qualify a couple of things. I sell bikes for a living. With selling bikes comes fitting people to their bikes. I have received training and I am certified to bike fit and have done so successfully for many many people. I fit people for non injurous cycling. Riding a bike is an activity of repetition and insuring someone does not case undue wear or injury is my first priority. Anyhoo there really never is any good reason to have a saddle on an angle other than level. It pains me to see it. There I've said it.

Okay a Brooks small tilt back being the exception.

Not yet, but I hope you weren't planning on having children any time in the future. Or for that matter, sex.

I'm starting to get real jealous of that Gipiemmie wheel. Lucky find.

Yea, Scrambler's aren't attractive bikes. It's fun to ride with 42x17 though. Sadly I can't barspin 700x25, I should get a headset spacer =P. All in all I have been very impressed by the ride quality of it for a $100 frameset. If I have time on Saturday I'm going to rebuild the Samson and I will post new pictures of that.

Here's my more-often ridden fixed; I'm not 100% sure what the frame is, but its an old touring model with an aftermarket chrome job and all of the braze-ons shaved. Please forgive the bar taping job.
