what bars are those specifically?

That's sweet. Judah. The place in that first pic looks familiar... Am I mistaken?

Andiamo: I love the paint job on your bike. Looks great. |

thanks i am really happy with the powder coat that spectrum did. the colors weren't exactly what i had in mind at first but I think it turned out well.

the ground up is very very nice. Can you provide more details on geometry and chainstay length, also time it took to build. I assume the builder (I forget his name, sorry) was trying to bring in the rear wheel for tight geo. He really is an innovative builder. The powder coat works for me.
I'm not a fan of the colored wheels though, but...it works in the scheme. Is this for the velodrome in CO? |

I don't have the geometry with me right now.when i get it I can send it to you if you like. he built this bike with short box chainstays because I wanted a bike that would be best suited for sprint events. this bike is a track only bike. I made it with that in mind. I made the mistake of riding it to work the other day and flatted out my front tufo track tubular. the only street this ting will see from now on is the 2 blocks from my house to the 7-11 velodrome. i am very happy with how the wheels turned out. they are mavic cxp30s that spectrum powder coated to match the rest of the bike. i am not sure what Erics turn around time is these days. i would email him and find out. this bike took longer than it should have for reasons I don't want to get into. it was started last feb.

That's right, Eric is his name.
Yeah, just pm me the geo specs, that would be great. It must be nice living 2 blocks from a great facility like that. Best of luck in the racing season. |
damn that's hot

Hi,
Where did you get that Windsor? Was it a Windsor Professional? I had one with full Campy 30 years ago. I was riding it one day, when this old man wearing this black/dark (blind-man) sunglasses drove his car across in front of me. My bike slam into the car. I flew over this roof, but luckily landed feet first on the other side. I wasn't wearing no helmet because hardly anybody wears bicycle helmets back then. I was very lucky to only have a lacerated finger when my finger somehow got caught on the brake lever. The frame was ruined as the top and down tubes were buckled. I end up tossing it into a dumpster. What size is your frame? Want to sell it? Frogger |

Frame and fork are Miyata built that I bought as a complete bike from a Goodwill thrift store for $14.01 .
Built up the wheels from stuff I had around. High flange fromt hub . American made redband Bendix coaster hub in the back. Randommer(sp) bars and a leather covered saddle that I had. Gearing is 42 x 18 . I really enjoy the simplicity of running with a coaster. Totally silent . Got maybe $50.00 total in the bike and it makes me smile most every time I ride it. |

I don't believe the Windsor is a Pro...It's an interesting frame though. Looks more like normal track geometry, but with horizontal drops and no braze-ons at all.
Picked it up from an on-line ad in SF Bay area..While the frame rides like a dream for me (Some flex, not too stiff for my wussy condition...) I think the rear hub may be a bit kooky. It feels like it fishtails at higher speeds. Perhaps it's just me, or my riding technique (Or lack thereof) but I do like it. Unfortunately for you though, I won't sell it. I do have a nice early 80's KHS Turbo frameset that I'd love to part with as it's quite tall. 61cm, if you're interested. Thanks for the props, but the paint job wasn't mine - It looks much better in the photos than in actuality. I'll probably powder-coat and then add some detail of my own this winter... |
so, there are parts i'm still waiting on (saddle, pedals, chain) but here she is... the rensho.

looks amazing... that is one beautiful bike... congrats on finally getting it back.
