EAI Bareknuckle
52cm
Sugino 75 cranks and BB
Thompson seatpost and stem
Selle Italia SLR
Deda Pista bars
Deep-Vee's laced to Formulas

Lovin' this bike. I built it up to be beefy and stiff, hence the Thompson setup. Despite it's girth it is still relatively light and responsive on the track. I'd recommend a bareknucle to anyone, it's truly a great ride. Great wheel-build by Marcus at YoJimbos too. I even t-boned this bike into a speeding car a few weeks after I got it and it was unscathed, gotta love steel. I built it to be a track and street bike, and it's been great as both.

****ing awesome color combo.

The more i see pics of the bareknuckles the more i like em. they really are a decent looking frame. or should i say they're the worst.
by the way-i'm curious how tall are ya and what size is that beast?

sr20det 06-28-06 08:47 PM

it says right there thats the frame is 52cm...

gee- you're right. if you were really good you could tell me how tall he is...

sr20det 06-28-06 10:00 PM

what an asshat. extrapolate it yourself from your own framesize. unless you don't ride...
+ its not really going to tell you too much unless your body is the same in proportion to his.
also, if you use the f-ing search. theres an ENTIRE THREAD on the height of people riding various sizes of BN frames cause they're sized a tad bigger than other frames.

and while i'm at it. Its pretty damn annoyning when other people aside from Juvi&Shants use the phrases "its the ***** WORST!" or "its the ****** JAM!"

anyways, enough from me.

Here's my ride, courtesy of one Terry Farrant.

early 1980's (???) Kuwahara-made Apollo Gran Sport. Shimano 600 Arabesque crankset with KMC BMX 1/8 chain pushing Shimano 52t chainring and 16t cheap frewheel in the rear. Araya 700c rims, suzue hubs, Conti Ultra Sport 28's. Shimano 600 brakes and levers. Kuwahara headset, unknown post, Selle Royale (???) Expedia saddle...blah, blah....nice and light (well, light as I know as light) and quiet....

(you can click on the little picture icon, a dialog box will open prompting you to enter the URL of the image you want to post, then you simply paste it in there and click "ok" and the little tag is created for ya)
edit - or let 128 post the pics for you!!

Antipodes 06-29-06 10:52 AM

That's exactly what I did! But it just posted the link, not the damn picture!......me confused...

sivat 06-29-06 12:16 PM

You posted a link to the page, and not the actual image. It will only show an image if linked to a .jpg, .gif, .bmp etc.

joelv 06-29-06 12:38 PM

chrisj 06-29-06 07:39 PM
