I like the peeling decals. I also like the backcountry.com sticker on your fork. i do not so much like how that stem is blue and doesn't match the bike, but the alter is a hot stem nonetheless. nice ride!

Apparently they are physically attracted to other handlebars of the same sex.

Thanks, I think ;) I live in Toronto, in a pretty bad area (for Canada) and there haven't been any problems yet. If I am not riding this thing, it is locked up, even in my apartment.

I don't know what the bullhorns are, they are just some cheapies from my LBS that were 30$CDN. I like them but will probably get some drops one day when a decent set turns up.

The fork is an aluminium Kinesis fork that is not track specific, so it has been drilled for a brake. I'd like to get the same fork that is track specific someday. I had a carbon fork on this bike for awhile and it was more comfy but it lacked pinash so it is on my SS right now.

Yeah, the stickers don't really bug me too much either way, so I will let nature take it's course and have them peel/flake off on their own.

The Alter is really great and I did want the black one but I think the blue colour made this one less desirable therefore cheaper and it came with a Cinelli girly sticker on it that I thought was tacky at first but now I like it;)

I like the horns. The whole front end of that bike is hott. I wouldn't change a thing - well maybe some nicer looking toe clips and saddle but whatever. Resin clips are ugly but fairly bombproof and everyone's ass is different.

I can certainly see those handlebars (which are clearly male,) as attracted to other male handlebars. God hates ****...handlebars.

Bianchi San Jose

Linda and I just took the plunge and after reading everything I could about them, picked up a pair of Bianchi San Jose singlespeeds. The bike is a relatively lightweight steel frame, single speed, 42/17 gearing with a freewheel, cross bike. Some of the components are:
  • 700x32mm (semi-knobby) tires
  • Cane Creek brakes
  • Sugino crankset
  • Shimano freewheel
  • KMC chain
  • Alex wheelset and
  • Aheadset headset
The price? A amazing (I think anyway) $503 each!

Here's mine:

I don't have Pista shame, I just don't like the decals. Especially the "NO BRAKES" one. I haven't made up my mind about the cervelo logo yet.

And yes the serfas light is teh kewlest.
