if you look closely, you'll see that there is a drop in the 'flats' area on the bars on the pista, while the nittos have none.

they ARE nitto bars, however, they are the O19 model. they've got a funny angle on the upper area, as 165 said. that allows for a really comfy angle for your wrists when you're going fast down hills. (yeah,weird, i know)

if you're looking for nice bars though, go with the O17 models. the very tips of the bars curve inward at the last possible bend. they are GORGEOUS. i wish i had seen them earlier. they are really hard to find.

there's some question as to what it actually is, but so far it looks like it's an itialian built-frame from 1994, built by a company called Billato under license from masi, prolly of columbus sl, but it could be oria. i'm still trying to figure out what it is though.

I got this frame 11 days ago and been hustlin around town getting all the other parts ever since. Picked up the last things today and put em on...had to scavenge parts off the other bike (temporarily). What I do next will be to strip the paint and give it a custom dealy. But first!...gonna take it out for a spin in a few...after the celebratory toast of course ;)

It's a 56cm Nishiki. Bikeworks hooked me up with the 24" (otherwise it would have been the internet...there don't seem to be many around these parts.) Rides great! I do have this feeling of falling forward a little, and spend a bit of time standing...just gotta adjust and feel out the handling of this bike yet. I would also like to see how it compares to my Fuji track. So, as they say in the McD's commercials, "I'm Lovin' it"

Drafting is less necessary now that we're both so aero (heh heh). I love my bike now that I've gotten my fit issues all resolved (as you've noticed, it's a bit tough). I started realizing the flat part of my horns are where i'm going to spend most of my time, so I set myself up so I can be there without much discomfort. The horns are for climbs/sprints (almost always out of the saddle). Try flattening the saddle out and scooting it forward. A shorter stem might help too.

Pursuit bikes are amazingly fun to ride in traffic, enjoy!

On my bookshelf there sits an old matchbox station wagon painted in the exact same color. :D

Problem is, this paintjob's chipped in many places, and it flakes off real easy. I don't give it long. Gotta get in on a bit of surface rust too...
