3 2 1 polo

Friend gave me an old Supercycle... my partner spray bombed it white, I installed some new Alex wheels, and put some low rise bars and used grips on it.

The crank came out of the scrap pile and I put together a bottom bracket to fit the odd 70mm shell.

Played on Sunday night and the bike was awesome... 34:20 is great for acceleration and low speed maneuvers and seated skids are a no brainer.

Gotta work on the chain line a little although that 3/8 chain is pretty accommodating and seriously badass.

I should have the wheel covers on for tomorrow night's pain fest and the bike is really pretty light for a straight gauge high ten frame.

the front brake on the right is a motorcycle/cross thing.

and a british and other European countries thing, maybe Australia? The brake is installed on the right hand side so that you can properly hand signal with your left arm while applying barking force to the front wheel. Don't you guys use hand signals?

Most people ride without helmets here. Do you think they use hand signals?

I do use hand signals without wearing a helmet, and I'm from commie-eurotrash-central.

but, on a bike you can use both hands to signal. you only bend your left arm to turn right in a car because you can't stick your arm out the right window. if humans had 10 ft right arms, we probably would just stick our arms straight out in the direction we desire to go.

Right, I think it looks silly when a cyclist holds his left hand up to signal a right turn. I hold my right hand out to the right. Motorcyclists signal right turns with their left hands because they can't take their right hands off the throttle. (Right?)
