Bikes: Click on the #YOLO

Got one interview closer to a job in a plasma physics lab at Cornell figuring out how to consistently put different square pegs into different round holes. Professional problem solver, armed with nothing but years of trade experience and a full machine shop.

I might just make a living in this town yet. Pumped.

Of course if Gordon Freeman stops in and starts raising hell with his crowbar, I'll be one of the first to die.

Bikes: looks like a specialized crux now

I managed to miss all that when i was in seattle,
i ended up in a coffee shop helping to knit the worlds longest scarf and flirt with chicks, but i do owe someone up there a new mountain bike from a screwed up bunny hop while i was waiting for my fixed gear in the mail,

pic is not me

Today I set up two meet ups to sell tires and wheels on Craigslist. The first guy arrived on time and the deal went smoothly. The second dude got really pissy when I kindly told him to hurry because I had to meet up with friends later and decided he didn't want the wheels. I really ****ing hate flakers. I forgot my gloves and my hands were freezing for 30 mins which makes me even angrier knowing I did it for no reason.

Say, does anyone have $25,000 they can spare?

Bikes: AristoNYC's PedalRoom

needed a new beater bike & didnt feel comfortable locking up my leader or dolan (I am paranoid). So I ordered a SE Premium Brew 61cm & plan on stripping and clear coating the frame - as seen here - any tips on stripping it and clearing it? This video gives me a good idea - https://youtu.be/8fIR5irOLd4

why it picked it over a kilo - I want front & rear brakes, the pedals looks better, the only thing I think I will have to upgrade is the saddle. I'm ok with the wheels being heavy as it will be a pothole friendly ride.

Today someone that I really didn't wanna see came into the tiny-ass shop. Awkward, to say the least. To make myself feel better I built up a 61cm 2013 CAADX with Ultegra and discs and rode it in the parking garage for a minute. I am in love. Riding home in the snowstorm tonight, I wished for the first time since I've had them that I wasn't on 23c Gator Hardshells. Didn't go down, but I was wishing for more traction.

Bikes: All of them

Today I did like 20 minutes of intervals at the polo fields with a friend, then an ominous rain cloud rolled over the track so we cut the session short and raced away from it heading home... just barely got sprinkled on. Then on Strava when I got home, saw that Chris Phipps was there an hour before us doing intervals. Glad I wasn't there an hour earlier. His recovery laps are about on par with my pain laps... very humbling.

Today some scumbags stole my rear wheel and seat/seatpost while I was having a good time playing trivia at a local bar. First time I ever got my **** jacked. feelsbadman.jpeg Luckily my favorite bartender offered me a ride home after closing.

We just started carrying All-City, too. Very impressed.

I'm gonna be combing Craigslist and eBay into the near future to try to catch these ********. If anyone in the LA area sees a Kilo TT Pro rear wheel (generic, I know) outfitted with Gatorskin, a Fizik Arione Tri2 or a Deda RS01 post up for sale, feel free to PM me so I can break some skulls.

Yeah, it was my Leader. The silver lining is I have my other bikes being shipped to me via FedEx this week. Don't have a spare track rear right now though.

That sucks, I'm sorry to hear SG. Did you just have the frame locked up or something?
