Yeah, though I have tons of critiques of the whole series.

Jesus, I need to come out there forreals. Is the best time still like August-ish?

My favorite time to ride is mid-March to late-October.

I didn't say best, I said favorite. I have never actually done winter riding. This may be the year though. I just need to get cold weather gear.

Whoops, that's my bad. Good to hear you might give it a shot this year. I've never braved a Chicago winter, so I can only imagine how prepared you have to be...very prepared.

I took this pic last winter on my way out to ride home from work. I am wearing smartwool tights, polarfleece pants, TWO hats, two pair of gloves, waterproof boots, I'm sure there's at least one wool sweater under that jacket... Can't really be cute when you're biking in a Chicago winter, but it's still fun!

Mount that thing on the wall, right where that blank space is.

Rain apparently won't be here until 10pm. Can't get myself up to putting in road miles today.

Santa came early

Today Santa showed up with my new 49cm Soma Rush frame and matching threadless fork, so now epicschwinn and I can be twinsies. I was sweating it for a week that it would be the old model w/o the nice Tange dropouts, but it's the real deal. So if anyone wants a 53cm, 55cm or 59cm in khaki green for only $242.31 and free shipping, they've still got them here >>> https://www.cycleclubsports.com/casea...k+khaki+green+ and the fork is only $70.50. The saddle and seatpost in the pic are just for mockup purposes, but the stem on the fork is the one I will use.

Hey man, when I put my guests up on an air mattress, I do it in STYLE (and lateral stiffness but vertical compliance. Or something.)

Today was a great session @ the pumptrack. Tomorrow is 100% certain it's a road ride.
