You stripped your stem? I'm assuming it was probably very close to being stripped to begin with. That's the one that dude in town gave you for free right? |
There should have been a pic! I missed something when I pasted the image link, it's there now! and here too, so you don't have to go back a page.

Ohhhh...
I think I have some hardware I once pulled off a bent caliper hanging around at the shop. I'll do some digging. |
one of the guys at my LBS had his bike stolen earlier this year. It was found like this
http://sphotos.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-...08213339_n.jpg apparently it's been there for a week, thief locks it up AFTER he breaks it (853 btw)? leaves all the parts though. very weird. wondering if he pissed someone off |
I'm not sure if I'd rather find my stolen bike like that, or not at all. I suppose frames are replaceable, but it'd be a real bummer to find your ride like that.

See, this is where I deviate from the norms of society; I totally support cutting off someone's hand for theft.
You steal my ****, I catch you - the only question you should be worried about answering is hand or foot. Period. No, I have no sympathy. Sympathy has bred a society of people who know they can just take and everybody will forgive them and turn the other cheek. F that noise. You'll remember not to steal when you have to wipe your snotty nose with a stump. |

now we're talking
$<100 - top of a finger $101-$500 - finger $501-$1000 - two fingers $1001+ - hand |
Today I got my new cog and had a hell of a time getting my old one off. Borrowed a friends chain whip and got the job done though. Excited to try it out on the way to the library later.

...learned the hard way that shimano isn't messing around with requiring those breakaway chain pins. 15 miles of scooting that bastard home, I'm alive, and have a good story I guess, but it's time to steer away from shimano chains.

I had some asswipe break into my old Jeep and steal my Oakleys, my iPod cable, and my bible out of my center console. Pissed me off. I'd say it's worthy of a losing a finger or two, not sure a whole hand is appropriate, considering the value of the items stolen.

4GB is a lot if all you do is troll BF.
<---- lolthisguy |
so my centurion seatpost diameter appears to be 27.0 (probably). 27.2 feels too tight (it's what was in there but when I took it out the post was coated in Vaseline...). I didn't force my 27.2 in there, so tried the 26.8 I had sitting around and it just fell right in.
so is forcing that extra .2 a bad move? |
I am not bragging about the amount of RAM. I'm saying I've run twice as many programs as I had ever tried before, and this thing was still fast.
|
I have the first gen unibody MBP and it's super slow. Need new comp for faster trolling.

so is forcing that extra .2 a bad move? Nashville isn't bad. The hills here make me wish I had my bike. Gonna hang out with an old friend later. Should be a good time. |
Today I'll finally finish my LoPro build, I've being running with ononoms but the campy BB just arrived in the mail YAY :D
