My Garmin said I went 89.9mph last night.
Computer said it, must be right. http://icanhasinternets.com/wp-conte.../05/haters.gif |
Ya.
Strava profile does not inspire confidence in that speed. http://app.strava.com/rides/11811130#203908774 http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v1...s/Untitled.jpg |
Operation: Dark Lord Ice Cream was mostly a success. No ice cream machine so it's slightly crystallized. Milkshakes to the rescue.

No ice cream machine? What kind of gypsy restaurant do you work at?
You can get a decent White Mountain unit for like $300. |
Today I got honked at on the ride home (rare in my area). They were short, spaced-out beeps, so at first I thought the guy was trying to indicate something. It was probably displeasure since I got in front of him at the intersection and then the headwind kept me under 20 MPH... :notamused:

Today I finished that BB overhaul, after losing a bearing. Buttery.

TIL that 23mph (on a slight descent) = 40mph flat sprint. Good to know. So that means that my ~30mph avg sprint last night is = to a 58mph sprint guys! (fixed and 49x16) http://i.imgur.com/zdNK5.png I'm so pro. |

http://i.imgur.com/zdNK5.png I'm so pro. That's a nice sprint though. http://i.imgur.com/D9gBs.png That means I'm up there too. We can easily take on Cavendish now Jandro. You want to call HTC Highroad, or should I? Edit: I'm an idiot, Cavs is on Sky now isn't he? |

while were on the subject of the craptasticness of the iphone gps, would i be able to count on a dedicated gps like a garmin to give me accurate results all the time, or am i still gonna have to scrutinize what it tells me? i want one simply for the sake of being able to use my phone on long rides and still track my rides, but i would expect a ~$300 gadget to give me some reliable data |

I like the Garmins because it tracks my route too, so I can show off to my friends (duh). |

Today I had a fun 42 miles. Despite pinch flatting, still managed a decent avg speed.
|
Rode my bike today. To Home Depot, and to two bike shops. The first was lame as always, but the second was much nicer than I had remembered.

farted a lot

One of the more enjoyable activities in life. Especially when riding. Gives you a speed boost.
