Damn I really wanted to go to that, but didn't have the time.

This year it was just a cobra-fest. Major mehs. Not a very interesting marque.

I've rode my cervelo s2 on mountain bike trails. Hardshells would have been nice but the gp4ks held up quite well. Maybe he has a race wheelset at home with more appropriate tires - you never know.

Or he's just a fred with lots of money ;)

I hadn't thought of that. Honestly, probably a little of both.

Very nice ride there, Wilson. Riding that loop around Rockport is the best.

works great besides the stripped bolts on the block that causes it to leak quarts of oil every week and and makes the cabin to fill with smoke... oh and it gets an awesome 7mpg

Sounds like a typical VW driving experience. I still miss my old VW bus everytime I see one, though.

After seeing vids of buses with Soobie engines in 'em, I kinda wanna do that.

jdgesus 08-20-12 02:13 PM

me 2, but nothing beats a free car.

Psssht it takes a half hour to do a motor swap. I'd drive the **** out of it.

jdgesus 08-20-12 02:50 PM

Today I caught one of these guys
http://i641.photobucket.com/albums/u.../photo-116.jpg

I let it go then realized it would make a pretty cool head badge for my green bike if I preserved it the way people make bug jewelry.

LesterOfPuppets 08-20-12 03:05 PM

Damn, it's a camper, too. Cuanto cuesta, holmes?

LesterOfPuppets 08-20-12 03:06 PM

Today I saw the slowest cyclist on the planet with a GoPro on his helmet. Did not subscribe to youtube channel.

Today I came home to a UPS sticky at the gate and totally got all pumped up about it being my custom drilled hubs on the way to and from the UPS store and it ended up being another one of the sqrl's purses. Major let down.
How I felt when I noticed the box had a purse with a dust cover over it:

Oh yay I get to help for once in this forum.
So its either Subie or Scoobie but not soobie :)

And yes I have a buddy that took the impreza engine and "droped" it in his vw van and its a great conversion. Engines are reliable and cheap not to mention there is a company making the conversion kits.

today i worked for 4 million hours and hated it. dust in my store was making my nose run and cough all day.

looked up alex at400 rims and the first link provided me with this gem of a review:

Strengths: strong light rimt stays true when spooks are replaced.and tighten

Weaknesses: the spokes let the wheel down buy stretching
and braking

Bottom Line: replace my old wheels with Alex 400
2nd ride Brock a spoke 5 7 8th rides broken spokes and the wheel keep on going out of true. so went to the lbs got a set of stainless spokes for the fount and back. put them in and did my first rades spok on the fount wheel . ride 60 to 80 ks a week no more Brocken spooks and the wheels say true .
not edited for grammar.
