I broke up with a girl I was dating and two weeks later realized I had made the wrong decision for me. She wouldn't answer my calls for a long time, but apparently her mother encouraged her to give me another chance. Fast forward about nine years; we've been married for 5 years now and have an awesome infant daughter. Thanks, mother-in-law!

Heart hurtz sucks, man. I wish you the best.

Today I skipped out of work for an hour to go down the street to the Apple store and watch 2 guys from The Vaccines play a few songs (acoustic) and answer some audience questions. It was rad. My BF, who works at said Apple store, is currently helping the band buy stuff right now if his texts are to be believed.

I have tickets to their show tonight, also. I'm excited.

Today I homeworked, and it sucked. Shoulda done this 15 ****ing years ago, instead of acting like an *******. STAY IN SCHOOL KIDS.

work has devolved into glorious chaos.

the state decided to merge two unrelated job titles and now both my former and new coworkers have multiple functions they are not trained in and are unable to complete due to a complete lack of training.

i warned administrative staff over a year ago and was met with disbelief.

feeling just a little vindicated....

things should go all "Lord of the Flies" by the end of the month.

if i stayed in school i wouldve screwed up royally

dropping out and wasting away for 4 years was the best thing for me in the long run, because it helped me realize my priorities and what i wanted out of this life.
ill be 27 this year in a school full of kids born after 1994 and i have a 3.8 gpa. i wouldnt have had that kind of concentration or drive at their age.

im gonna go back to skool in aug 2014 (nanotechnology and/or materials sci/engineeing PhD). im 26 right now.

a fair chunk of my friends and family members are in grad school right now. they have less time and money than i do.

it will be hard to adjust

Nagrom_ 02-06-13 05:44 PM

I have no idea what I want to do with my life.

I feel like a calculator.

Street rider 02-06-13 06:48 PM

I actually have a pretty good idea what I want to do after I finally graduate. Which is great, because I have friends graduating real soon, or who already have, and even they're not 100% whats going on.

I'm super jealous! They came over to Aus and played a big festival called Falls over new years but I couldn't make it there because of work. From what i've heard they were pretty awesome!!

Dannihilator 02-06-13 09:16 PM

Today I had a cold sloppy commute in and a not so cold non sloppy commute home. Tomorrow, going to have to take care of business with the dmr.

But seriously.... It's gonna be an actual beater. I was gonna get a cheap ****ty road bike, but figured it could serve two purposes. Got some sweet trails around here.

Nagrom_ 02-06-13 10:03 PM

Look at this mean machine:

ddeadserious 02-06-13 10:05 PM

I'd mess with it.

I'd also spend wayyyyy too much money on it.

Nagrom_ 02-06-13 10:07 PM

I'm just gonna pull the shifty bits, add drop bars and call it a day.
