Stack height is the measurement of the visible parts of your headset when it's installed. Measure the top, bottom and add them together.

Any cool 1" threaded FG framesets (under $300) you recommend?
I like the vintage look plus I can easily drop parts from my conversion onto a new frameset.

Threading a threadless fork is a complete mother****er to do. I could sell you a 1" threaded fork for less than the labor charge.

You could get the kilo and swap the fork, stem, and headset to a threaded set-up.

Any frame with a 1" head tube is capable of being used with a threaded fork/headset.

Scrod do you think that this fork would fit nicely onto a 722ts? Does it need any kind of special headset or the one on the normal 722 fork would suffice?

It grows unevenly (as most beards do) so every now and then I would trim it a little but I decided to stop and just let it do its thing.

It seems to have an oversized crown so it may end up looking a little weird. You also may have an issue with the crown race/bottom bearing seating properly, as ddeadserious did with his Kinesis fork:

If you prepped the threads, they really shouldn't be winding up too much but any spoke is going to wind up a tiny bit while bringing them up to tension. Stress relieving the wheel after building takes care of this.
