Nice.

The very first time I rode clipless was in a PGH winter on tarmac. cut thru a church parking lot absolutely COVERED in black ice and it took about 20 feet in for me to actually crash (only when I realized, "hey is this black ice?" WHOMP. before that I was fine because I was moving only in one direction with zero yaw).
Got passed by the bike after I crashed, as we were both sliding on our sides. Hilarious.
I concur, as long as it's not fast enough to break a collarbone or give you a hipper, or get you run over, crashing on black ice is mainly LOL material.

Wiped out on black ice one time with a six pack in my bag. First/only thought -- "On no! The beer!" Luckily none were lost. The bike and I were okay too.

Watched one too many hours of anime then went to work to deal with a bunch of blatantly rude customers. Guess the Grinches, Scrouges, and Krampuses got to come out for the holidays as well. Least the weather was on my side for riding home.

I'm running on fumes.

Today I am still in SF on business, with a folding bike I brang with me to scoot around the city. I gawk at all the bieks. Visited Mission Bikes Monday PM, got a tattoo at Black Heart and had a few therapeutic preparations at Zeitgeist Tuesday night. Tonight, I will head over and check out MASH.

Totally jealous of people who live here. It's 30 deg colder back home and it is said that we are in the middle of a cold snap in SF, with daytime temps in the 40-50s. Supposed to be in the 60s and sunny over the weekend... after I leave. Damn.

So many awesome bikes and motorcycles on the road. Pressed my nose up against the glass to check out KTMs at a closed Scuderia. Getting whiplash from checking out bikes riding by on the street while I'm walking around. Bay Area has really grown on me since I've visited a few times.

Move there!
You'll run into me there for winter, spring, & summer when work is out of session. :D

That being said, welcome!

Who'd you get tattooed by at Black Heart? That's where I got my 3/4 sleeve done (by Tim). I live a few blocks away from the shop.

They both start with "C", that's reason enough.

Dannihilator 12-12-13 05:14 PM

Right? No idea why but I just started lusting after the Gazzetta. Really don't need to be spending that money though. We'll see...

Today I finally got my new wheelset on, it came in Tuesday but I had to get rim tape and a heat gun to remove my 18t.

Please disregard my saddle, bar tape, and bar angle. Just focus on the wheels, yeah just look down at them. Also haven't had the chance to ride them yet, I hurt my back today moving copy machines around, it hurts to not move, ugh.... :(

Something about the spoke angle as it exits the nipple really bugs me. Did you build those yourself?
