Fortunately for me I've always been an SF fan over SD, even though I'm from SD. The niners and giants are often pretty good.
I prefer SF over SD because of family from the yay area, and because of SD sucking and stuff

Today I:
Got a KMC K710 (non-SL) chain in the mail, on the advice of many BF posters. There is conflicting info online about how many links are included for the non-SL version, so I counted mine and got 112 including the connector. Good thing, since my bike has long chainstays and needs more than 100 links!
Not sure how I feel about the two-piece "non-reusable" Missinglink, though. I ran a SRAM PC-870 (same style connector) on this bike a couple years ago before I knew any better -- even removed it a couple times to clean the chain -- and had no issues, but since then have read dire warnings never to use this type of connector on a fixed-gear. I'm not sure what removing the thing does that riding it for thousands of miles doesn't, either, but I'm all ears.

There's absolutely nothing wrong with KMCs two-piece master link. I've even (gasp!) re-used them on several occasions.
Actually, I've found that omitting it and joining those chains back together by pushing in one of those flanged pins actually causes a weak spot in the chain that often makes an audible click with each rotation. Whatever you wish to believe, though...

Dire warnings?

The worry is that the link will get compressed and pop loose. This will never happen because when the chain is under compression those forces are spread out evenly across the chain (the chain bows). That said, if you're truly paranoid, new links are cheap.

Yeah, you'll be fine.

After 4 months I finally heard from the company that I applied at in San Diego. I had to take an online psychological exam; I assume if I "pass" the next step will be an interview or a job specific test.

Today I made my semi-annual pilgrimage to my urologist, and this is one case where negative results are positive news.
Also, I just returned from relocating another trapped possum into the country. That makes 7 possums this year, along with 13 feral cats and 2 racoons.

Those shrink tests are a joke. I've worked with guys that were totally certifiable who passed them.

IDK about the Chargers, but Romo is just one more hard hit away from his career being over.

USPS broke my **** yesterday. More than anything it's the let down that hurts the most.
What's astounding is both items were professionally packed separately and they still managed to do their hand to both items.
I'm beginning to think it's a bad idea to ship expensive and heavy hifi gear that's susceptible to a postal worker's wrath.
Thankfully the seller, a friend of mine, has a technician friend here who put me to the top of his list, while he foots the repairs and wrangles with the claim.

Actually, it's the people who are 100% sane who fail them. I guess they figure that we're all somewhat neurotic, and if we answer all the questions correctly then we must be lying. So, I would deliberately give some questionable answers, just to appear normally effed up. I passed every one I ever took that way.

get some tegaderm from cvs/wallgreens/duane reade and pop it on there, its a lot harder to get off than youd imagine from something that just looks like saran wrap
