Got bored today and while contemplating what to do with the sound system I parted out from my now sold subaru; I managed to cobble it together and run it thru a wall outlet with a spare desktop PSU and some donor molex cables.

Went to a swap meet yesterday in SF. Got a bunch of really nice stuff for cheap.

High quality bibs for 30 each, Jersey for 10, new cockpit for the mtb for about 25 bucks.

Best score was a pair or bontrager rxl mtb shoes for 50 bucks brand new.

Today, I got a flat on a long downhill going 34 mph. Scary but I was able to stop without going out of control. My rear tire (gatorskin) got slashed on a piece of metal that I didn't see until it was too late and I had to call the wifey to come pick me up.

Wow, glad you're safe. Good thing it wasn't the front.

Also, in before tire boot

sounds scary. Did it pop on the way down or you noticed it was flat when you caught speed? Either way I wouldn't want that to happen.

Today I got taken out by some jogger who had headphones, had a dog who was on a leash that was way too long. Claimed he didn't hear me, if he had the headphones off he would have known since I rang the bell several times. Anyways, landed square on my bad shoulder. Shoulder's ok, but have bruised ribs.
