Nope, but it is an American two door hatchback. http://mustangattitude.com/mustang/1...6_00004_02.jpg |
Actually a 305 Chevy Monza (Olds Starfire, Pontiac Sunbird, etc) would be cool.
I had one with a 252 Buick V6 out of a LeSabre, 11:1 compression, high rise manifold, 450 double pumper, lowered 1.5 inches when people were still putting air shocks in Pontiac Grand Prix, Bilstein adjustable shocks, sway bars with adjustable end links... It had this new thing called a subwoofer and people were like WTF??? Couldn't keep brakes on the thing and kept burning up the tiny little front wheel bearings. |

Turbo 4 banger, it was made for 3 years.

That Mustang is way too new, said it was 40 years old. That Fox is from the 80's

You are all gonna be so disappointed.

Turbo gives it away. Has to be a Mercury Capri. My friend had one. We called it the Crapi.
IIRC They had galvanized body panels? http://assets.blog.hemmings.com/wp-c...4-770-0@2X.jpg |
Not a Capri either, said it was only available for 3 years. Capri ran longer than that.

The age is spot on. I goofed earlier. It's an 84. It was rebadged after 86. |

Not one of the most memorable 80's sports-like cars, but it's unique. What color? Also, does it have the wheels that just have a bunch of holes drilled in them?

There are worse cars out there for sure. Post up pics.
Only issue is the head gasket is starting to go. Hasn't blown yet, but it needs to be replaced. Gonna rebuild the engine, see if I can get another 100 horses out of it. 250hp/2500lbs should be fun. I can at least get to 200 at the wheels I know. http://i.imgur.com/siqpaoV.jpg |
You gonna have it transported back home or you're gonna make a road trip out of picking it up in person?
|
It arrives Sunday.
