It was nice to meet you, too. Go to the Wed. ride and Cathy will be there, maybe Sarah, too. They can tell you about the Angeles Crest ride with vertical Bob and the Ventura ride. Or, Saturday you could just go to CSUN. I haven't decided what I'm doing, but I'm leaning toward AC.

I will try to go to work 'late' and stop in my way to work by the Wed start point (from the sfvb site: 23351 Mulholland Drive). I assume I can be with the group for an hour or so and then ride back to work.

I wish I could join the Wed ride :(

They meet at Mission Park on Main street, off of California Street. I think they are rolling at 8:30 and are going over Casitas Pass to the beach, zig zag around and back on the freeway, yawn.

I will do the CSUN 8:00AM level 3 or 4; Now that all of you going out of town, maybe I will talk to some 'new' people and tell them about BF.
Not like many of you; I fill gilty with the family because in the last 5 - 6 weeks I came back very late on Saturday, and next week I am going to do the 3 harbors century and the week after another long ride, so this coming weekend I want to be back by 1:00PM or 2:00PM max.

VanceMac, how was the Wed. ride? I saw you 10 minutes behind as I turned arround to go back to Calabasas (You see, I, not like many, still working Wed.)
This Wed. group is strong. I think all the man are leg-shaved with $4,000+ bicycles.
I was a bit out of place with my $1200 bike & hairy legs...

Wed group is pretty diverse, but there are some racer-types who join for the first 1/3 of the ride... so it does get spunky here and there. If you ever get a Wed off, though, you will see the true beauty of the Wed ride when the core group goes over to Malibu and back.

Shaving your legs is free, btw. Well, my razor budget has gone up a bit. But you will join us on the dark side, soon enough...

I saw Pete on de soto and victory on my way to the warner center for work on Wed morning. Too bad I WORK :(
