Just buy $2800 worth of razors to even things up.

Shai, there's nothing wrong with your bike or your legs. Just enjoy the fact that you are fast and strong and healthy and don't ever even think about shaving your legs!!

Shave shave shave shave!!!

Actually, it's a proven fact that hairy legs are faster due to the "golf ball" effect. The ONLY reason any rec rider shaves is to look like a pro.

Don't EVEN get me started, Johnson! There are about a half-dozen non-cycling reasons that I am now addicted to shaving my legs.

Sure am glad I never went down that dusty road. It was bad enough being an alcoholic and smoker. Don't need any more obsessions.

I was a bit out of place with my $1200 bike & hairy legs...

You have got more hair on your legs than on your head. Shave them both.:D

Shprung 06-29-07 08:36 PM

I am siting here LMAO.. you keep chating about me...
If I am not wrong Steve is the strongest/faster cyclist in this last few posts (and he is getting my highest score for being funny too) and while he is with hairy legs and home made bicycle, I can keep my legs and bike with proud.
V.bob, just to let you know, I just shaved my head again an hour ago.

VanceMac 06-29-07 10:17 PM

Shai and Ovo, have fun at CSUN.

John, Cathy, and VB... tear it up on AC.

Scoot and Cass, see you in the morning. We hit Casitas early, and then once we drop down from there, the coast is low-70's all day long. :)

1) You can feel yourself up when the wife's not around
2) It's a conversation starter with women
3) **********
I can't think of any more than that :D

Hey I'll probably be on the bike path tomorrow, seeing if I can make it past 1h30m without my knee bothering me (it's a short 2 mile limp home if not). I'm getting a larger bike so I can set the seat where it needs to be, and bringing a list of approved orthopedists on my plan to my physician when he gets back from vacation. Have fun on the real roads you guys!

Good ride today on the Ventura-Casitas-SB-Ventura loop. Even though the SB-Ventura via PCH section is boring, the ride up to Casitas is gorgeous and the weather was fantastic. I remembered to bring my camera, but didn't remember to take many snaps. Here are a couple:

Scoot flashing the gun (ezrider on the left, and small peek at Cassave in the back):

Ventura- SB loop ride was excellent! Nice to ride with a fast, talented group.
Enjoyment level was way up on the scale today.

Vance - great pics! Thanks for sharing. I'm so jealous. All you fast boys got to play on your bikes today. And Shai and Steve, you both make me laugh aloud. :D

OK Mary, you have a nice time in FRIED CHICKENLAND and we'll all get together new weekend at the IMAX
theater. Don't feel out of the loop by any means (even though you are). :)

Awwww...that is so sweet, Steve. :p I don't feel out of the loop, I just feel out of the saddle. Which I am except that I do have my Dad's bike to use.

Everytime I go to a family affair , I go holding my breath. By the time it's over I'm glad to have been there and I look forward to the next time. Enjoy you're visit, we'll be here when you get back.

( I hope ) it was a joke. We did the rock store climb and some other shorter one. 76miles with fast riders.. when we came back via mauro, almost every one slow down. Scott ( a shaved leg racer; well I think again every one was shaved legs today ) later told me that he is very very tierd.
Yet the avg speed on my cyclometer show 16.3mph only.
