Jersey CL has Paramount track bike. It looks like a 55 or so. The seller is convinced it has 24" wheels.

*EDIT* it IS a 24" wheeled junior track bike.

I'm selling my Nishiki Cresta cyclocross 6 speed bike, size X-Large (60 cm). This is a great frame that was handmade in Japan with Tange double butted steal tubing. I bought new rear brakes, new cables and housing, a new saddle, and new tires for it a few weekes ago and it hasn't been used since. Comes with platform pedals and two bottle cages. Call me with questions - 610 842 4992 (Carl)

[h=2]Vintage 1980's Specialized Allez Team Road Bike - $500 (Mount Vernon, IL)[/h]I just finished rebuilding this bike to ride but the frame is just a little too big for me (I'm 5'6"). It has new pedals, tires, tubes, newer wheels (and an older set). The bike rides great. Willing to trade for a medium size quality mountain bike or ??? This kind of thing is a really good reason to use the vB feature to store the images locally, at least it's in v3.8 or so.

North end of Seattle. I see one parallel top bar bike with rod brakes in the pics, might be worth the druve for someone just to check his prices.
Anything I'd get while in town visiting would have to be shipped home so I'm going to pass looking at the guy's collection so I'm not tempted.

If one of you do go, it would be neat to know his asking price on the tandem tubed bike.

San Jose area this looks really nice (not mine)

Team Miyata - 57cm, 1987, full Dura-Ace 7400, Beautiful! - $750 (san jose downtown)

https://sfbay.craigslist.org/sby/bik/3423267950.html

Hello and thanks for your interest. I'm selling my 1987 Team Miyata complete bike which has been fully rebuilt with a Dura-Ace 7400 8-speed groupset. The frame is a 57cm c-t-c, or 58cm c-t-t. I'm happy to take specific measurements if you require anything else to be measured. Here's a list of the parts I've used:

*57cm Team Miyata steel triple-butted frameset
*Shimano Dura-Ace 7400 rear derailleur, front derailleur, STI shifters, Crankset and brake calipers
*Dura-Ace 7600 bottom bracket
*Miyata black anodized 130mm stem
*Dura-Ace seatpost 27.2mm
*Dura-Ace wheelset with cassette rear hub
*Selle Italia yellow saddle (I could throw in a Brooks for a few bucks more if you're interested)
*Tange Alloy headset (Campagnolo clone)

As you can see, I've outfitted this bike with the best components I could while still remaining a true classic. Feel free to take it for a ride and you'll see how wonderfully it rides. As for the reason of sale: well, it just doesn't get ridden enough and I have many expenses this holiday.

(I have to figure out how to get pic from craigslist onto these posts easier)

I usually just copy and paste the actual ad from the craigslist posting for this thread. I think you need to download and then upload the images individually to store locally, and I don't really care enough to do that for 6 images from a random craigslist ad

Also: That Team Miyata is a beauty!

Looks like a nice ride. I like how he says:

Needs new tires and tubes.
When something tells me it would be much easier to buy tires with tubes already in them for this bike

Offer him an eBay link if he wants to host an auction. "Best offer" ads violate the craigslist TOS. I hate that crap.

The beauty of craigslist is that you have to name your price, which means if you're adept at spotting a good deal, as I have been, you can pounce, pay the full asking price (satisfying the seller) and gain an advocate (sellers have friends) in the future. Everybody wins.

E: ad screenshot for posterity:
