1940's Rare Pre-War Campagnolo Schwinn Superior Track Pista Bicycle serial # B19

1940's Rare Pre-War Campagnolo Schwinn Superior Track Pista Bicycle serial # B19 - $600 (Northbrook)

Extremely Rare! 1940's Schwinn Superior track bicycle. This bicycle got redone in the 70's and during that time they put on the 70's decals. The serial number is B-198 which is pre-war. It is a family bike, our uncle road for team Schwinn in the 70's. During that time he bought this bike and prepped it for casul races. The bike is equipped with campagnolo components (hubs, crank, seat post ect) there is also a Titan neck stem, cinelli bars, and cinelli seat. The bike originally came with wood wheels but we do not have those. This is a beautiful and rare bike and we would like to see it go to Some one as passionate about bikes as our uncle was. Feel free to ask questions and come see the bike.

Thanks for looking

The fork doesn't look original to the frame (P-15 frame, P-13 fork?).

This is the one from the mid 80's with exploded diagrams of all the groups and spare parts listing. Seller had 2 for sale and I bought one. FYI I put in an offer of $16 and seller let it die without a response, which irked me, but I decided I wanted it enough to swallow my pride and just buy the damn thing.
I can't believe this sat there for the last two days. The 80s are quite relevant to C&V. If he passed on $16 I figured why worry over $4.

Thanks for the heads up.

That's a great link. That said, I downloaded the 1982 and 1975 catalogue scans, and it's apparent they were scanned from photocopies. Velobase also has a lot of the same Campy catalogues, and these look like much better scans, at least of the 70s and 80s catalogues.
