Shwinn made that bike in 19,21,23,&25 inch sizes. I have the same bike in blue. It is a 25 and looks like the same size as the one on CL. I think the bars are turned slightly and may give the impression of a bent fork.

I don't know anything about this frame builder, but it looks like a good piece.

If I was in the area, I would have picked it up two hours ago!

Nice frameset. Comfy, all day ride characteristics.

Heres an ugly duckling thats been on Chicago CL for a while. I actually was going to go buy it but a snowstorm came thru that day and it seemed like too much bother. Put a nice old Brooks or Ideale saddle on it and it would be really nice.

Hello,

Up for sale is this Vintage Panasonic "Tourist" Bike. This bike has been in storage for years, so as the pictures show, it's a bit dusty. Everything seems to be in good/working condition. A clean rag and some air in the tires is probably all you need. I'm really not sure what year the bike is. 70s maybe? I believe it's a 26 inch frame. Bike is being sold as is.

Thank you very much!

Originally, in 1987, this bicycle would have listed at around $500 from Cannondale.
The good: Genuine Cannondale bicycle. Made in the USA. Beautiful black with red lettering.
The “bad:” This is a very nice machine which, in its day, was largely unrivaled aside from its own Cannondale siblings. However, this is not a bicycle which can be ridden home. It will probably need a chain, tires, and general reconditioning. It has sat unused for quite a while. With some TLC, this will undoubtedly bring many years of riding enjoyment.
Why are we parting ways? I went the direction of an off-road bike.
Make me an offer.

Schwinn 62CM Lugged Steel Horizontal Drops - $35 (Millington, NJ)

This Schwinn is HUGE CC measurement is a wopping 62CM Better be 6'3" for this to fit.Although the bike is complete its main value is in the frame which is LUGGED old school high quality steel probably made by Panasonic for Scwinn.
It has horizontal drop outs so you can adjust the chain. If you want to ride as is you need tires and tubes.Paint is good enough to leave alone.

Cannondale CAAD9 Road Bike 58cm - $500

Date: 2011-01-02, 6:03PM MST
Reply to: sale-emsvr-2140461996@craigslist.org [Errors when replying to ads?]

Cannondale Caad9 Road Bike for sale, $500. The bike is in excellent condition. I purchased it in August of '08 for over $1,200 from Rivercity bicycles in Portland, OR. Frame size is 58 cm with Shimano components all around. I just had the bike tuned up about a month ago so it's in perfect operating order (only ridden it once since then). This bike is a perfect bike if you're new to road biking and want a quality racing frame without the 4 digit price tag.

Will throw in Kryptonite lock too.

Thanks for looking.

-------------
I believe this is the 2008 Caad9-6 based on the frame = Tiagra components, I would buy it if it was my size.
