Nice bike Joe.

Here are some pics of my new grips, they're blue Primo Logo's. They absolutely feel much better then the standard Specialized's

This weekend will be the maiden voyage...I can't wait to get her all dirty. I still need to get the bike dialed in so I've got my fingers crossed that the rains will stay away.

Thanks for the compliment guys...

Lets just say that I've been eating lots of Ramen noodles lately I'm one of those that has a bike that is worth more than their car. No car payment means I have more money for bike parts

Feels pretty linear but I've only done the parking lot test. Hopefully this weekend I'll be able to take the bike out for its first ride and then I can dial in the fork and rear shock. Once I've done a few rides I can get a better feel on how the fork feels. I'm going from a super plush SHiver to the DH40 so it'll be interesting to see how the two forks compare.

I will say this, the fork is amazingly light for having eight inches of travel. I originally had the shiver on there and the bike weighed 45 pounds. When I switched to the DH40 the weight dropped to 43 pounds. That said, we'll see how durable the Fox is. I kept the shiver as a backup just in case.

That is one sweet rig.
Thanks...

It was kind of a joke. I noticed the thread on ridemonkey about the fork.

We don't even have those forks in whistler yet. Can't wait to see on beyond the demo table at crankworx ...

He twists the spokes. Forget what the method is called, but in theory it makes the wheel stronger.

Bikes: 2x Cannondale Super Vs, one M400

I see there are a lot of Cannondale Ho's on here--myself included, but I am old school...

The top is a '97 Super V 700 that I still use for daily rides, the bottom is a '97 Super V3000 (Euro version) that I only ride when I want to go really, really fast...

Cheers! M2

it makes the wheel laterally stiffer, and lessens the chance to bend or break spokes. i just wish i had the smarts to lace the damn thing to a disc hub instead of a regular one, now im kicking myself because i probably wont use it.

You realize those are, for all intents and purposes, the same bike frames?
