newbie question here: i see on the front you're using rim brakes, but does the sticker or the paint on the wheel affect your breaking power?
#1892
I'm not using a front brake, rear only. These rims are disk-brake only, rim brakes aren't such a good idea

I guess this is now considered "old school" and to some, quite odd. Hopefully to a few it is damn cool... as for myself I love this beast. I built it in 1995/96...almost 10 years ago? Whoa. Thats scary. It is sooooo light, rigid, responsive and strong and I hope it lasts a few more years. I suppose I could spend another 2 grand for a new bike but this one is just as good. Its amazing!
-Mountain Cycle MOHO R series frame
-Girvin Vector 2 shock (I love it)
-Mavic Rims
-Michelin Hot S tires
-Shimano XT
-next purchases: new cranks for sure, disc brakes
