It was a sticky for a long time, along with quite a few others.. then they decided on the 'best of' topic to put the stickies in.
Makes it a little harder to find them, and IMO newcomers are less likely to see the threads at all...

Nothing gets by you Mr. Brainiac.
Here's another bike picture just to try and cover my tracks and prevent another internet super-sleath from busting me.

Just picked up my new ride. It's an '05 Specialized Stumpjumper FSR Comp. I was lucky to find a close-out model in my price-range. It's been 10 yrs since my last bike. I've been impressed with the advancements in suspension & disk brakes rock. The bike will spend time doing hardcore xc, trials, and training. I changed the front spring to extra-firm, but its pretty much good-to-go. I travel alot and will ride all over Idaho, Wyoming, Montana, and Utah. Hope to see you on the trail!

Oh, and the reflectors are staying for the time being.

I don't have a bunch of lights or reflective clothing yet. So, it just seems smart right now. Was hoping to nip the flaming in the butt before it started
Congratulations, Wanderer! My first real mtb was a Rockhopper back in 1991. I'm sure you'll enjoy it as much as I did.
