I learned how to use the webcam on my laptop to take a snapshot of myself.

I've been neglecting the pilates and yoga stretches for my lower back, and suffering for it.
Soccer didn't help. We're back to playing the normal teams and getting our asses handed.

The horror.
Never tried pilates. Went to a couple of yoga-in-park sessions last year. I should probably try again.

I don't know that it's "real" pilates. That's just what the book says.
Probably sound like a broken record by now, but the stretching and foam roller have kept me out of a chiropractor's office and off pain killers and muscle relaxers for over a year.

That's great. I've used pre-workout stretching since my H.S. track days.

You're like, Mr. Super Cyclist and don't know what a foam roller is?
It's like an overpriced pool noodle, but made of denser foam and bigger diameter.
Cyclists used them to roll out various leg muscles, but since I'm a cycling poseur, I use it to roll out my back.
It's so awesome at cracking/massaging my upper back (which in turn affects my lower back issues) that I use it at least once every day.
There's a thread about them in the 33, including some good links to sites on how to use them.

It's not really used so much for stretching.
Here's the thread.
A foam roller would be on my list of 5 things to take to a desert island.

I rolled out of the neighborhood with the bike on the back, hit a patch of black ice and spun a 180.
As the car was now pointed for home, I took this as a sign and returned to the house. It will be another trainer session today.
