You running haters DO realize you need to mix in SOME type of weight-bearing exercise along with your biking, right?
I don't mean to single you out at all SA, but a lot of guys are under the impression, from what I gather around the forums, that total biking fitness is the end-all and be-all of healthy living. It's not.

Yeah I rode my friend's cheap Nashbar set, and I liked it. I am certain it will not replace my KK, but I think it would be cool to have to mix it up on. Maybe do the rollers a couple days a week.

- My first "computing" job was as a 10-key operator (during the day) and computer operator (during the evening)
- My first computer course (BASIC) was taught using keypunch machines (with no display) much like someone else pointed out. My college didn't even have a computer. We time-shared on the state university's machine. Luckily by the time I took FORTRAN we had CRTs.
- My first "remote support device" was a Texas Instruments "Silent 700" that used an acoustic coupler to connect at a blazing 300 baud
- My first laptop (for work) was an IBM PC Convertible with 2 3.5" floppy drives. If you want to see a beast of a laptop, research this one
- My first home computer was only black/white with no hard drive.
- And I remember BBS's
Yeah, I'm over 50...52 to be specific.
I also remember rotary phones, tube electronics, etc...however a lot of that may be due to my age as well as my rural South Carolina upbringing. We even shared a telephone line with about 5 neighbors (a party line, in it's original meaning).

Bikes: Have two wheels
We've been Romper Room and the 7th grade lunch table. Now were a rest home. I think we skipped a few steps.
Maybe I just don't remember them...

I'm so old I remember when student mischief was having a ruler fight when the teacher was out of the room. Now we have this.
I also remember when you could dial a number (on the rotary phone) for a machine which told you what the time and temperature is.

Nice... I remember some of those things, but not most. My first computer language was with a BASIC cartridge on an Atari XL hooked up to a TV.
