Seminar? ah pointless I've been to soo many of these things and rarely learn anything of any REAL use in the production/graphics world... on occasion I've taught them something about the app they're teaching.
What portion of CS3 are they teaching? Print/Web/Video? I've got all the CS3 with the exception of the Video which I think has been delayed in it's release...problems porting the code over apparently. |
Registration is already closed. It's free, and I never turn down a free lunch and a day out of the office. :)

ps. yay for finally getting rain pants! BoW did have some for cheaper, but they were super thin material so i opted for the MEC ones afterall. staying dry FTW!! |
From what I have heard, the R3 is a bit more comfortable because the Soloist is so f'in stiff. I should shoot for this if only because it looks so ridiculous (although I don't know how I feel about the geometry...):

Q: Do I ride the beater with really really really (really!) worn out 23c slicks? Or the cross bike with knobbies? :)
I'd go with the beater - but the cross bike would be fun I bet ;) Can't wait to get out there today, a rare day I'll bother to wear my rain pants as well as the jacket, I love this stuff :D |

I need some bike chums, Now that my brother is off at collage, and my GF/firends/family are getting sick of me blitering on about bikes, i realise i need some people that are as into bikes i am. some people to ride with who i don't have to wait for every 2 blocks, anyhow i realise this is a dumb post. but i don't know where else to make an apeal for bike chums! anybody who sujests CL personals is due for a smack!
|
Assuming they're still going to be on (weather permitting, I'd guess) - there's the weekly Devil Strip Roller sprints tonight, I've not been for a few weeks due to familial commitments, but I'll be there tonight if they're on. Check back here around 5pm for the usual confirmation. I'm new to the crowd too, I get out and about when I can though.
What kind of riding do you do, I'm not very varied (commuter/small tour/street riding), but a bunch here do different riding styles. |
