NICE on the 20percent!!! Only them's from the Rock, or with family from said can understand why it becomes an ethnicity as opposed to what province you live in.

20%? Noice... I've yet to make it out east, but I've been told a Brit *needs* to visit NF, so I'll have to check it out.
I tried to ride home last night, but once I got into Ajax the hail and snow starting coming at me horizontally, which was enough for me to bail so I took the train into town and went upto JF. Wind warning claimed it'd be done by 5, but it sure wasn't and I left Whitby at around 6:45 in hope it'd be better.
Had a flat and my two water bottles missing after Jet Fuel (only pop/gatorade bottles, no biggy but still a pisser) but I was drunk so all was well
Great party despite the wind, nice to see a few of you there. I love the community feel around cycling-ish events.
Thanks pyze, I'll probably just go grab some of those then.
Will hopefully see y'all tonight.

As importantly, use of the car fell and public transit also increased.

I'm hoping I'll actually be able to make it out to the ride tonight. I gotta give my new wheels a test ride before I leave for Europa on Friday so this'll be a good opportunity if I can get them / get them set up in time...

for anybody interested I'm about 99% sure I'm getting a 58cm Kona JTS from Sweet Pete's today.
I wasn't sure if I should get the 58 or 60 (6'2", 34" inseam) but the guy there said I'm definitely a 58.

Don paved trail is virtually ice/snow free.. good times! The mtb trails however are complete soup, though with most of the snow gone already.

Is it a really bad idea to put a 31.8 bar into a 26.0 stem? Even if that stem has an open faceplate?
I am pretty sure it is but I sometimes like to ride the ragged edge of disaster, y'know?

Can you even get it to fit at all? That's a huge size mismatch.

Hows your dental plan? I don't think you could even get the bolts threaded in it.

What would you guy say would be the maximum safe departure from a removeable faceplate stem measurement be? .5mm? 1mm? Less?

Damn missed the DSR ride, I guess - late dinner yet again.
Trying to get a decent sleep so I can ride upto Whitby tomorrow, hoping for that tailwind heading east

Should be a nice day for a ride tomorrow! Looks like Mike & I might be doing the Tour of Pelham on Saturday, so I'm gonna take 'er easy for the next couple days. Might go for another little spin after work tomorrow though, so again, if anyone's interested just fire me a PM.

Bikes: Menonite black urbanite, probably enough spare parts to make anther one.
did he offer to order the 60cm for you? i don't know why but a 58 would seem small to me. hey, if it fits you go for it...
nice ride tonight, aside from all the damn flats, but at least people held up and helped out
on the way home, i am riding just north of st. clair on young and i am going pretty slow since i just went up that hill before st. clair and this lady is pulling out from blockbuster, there's basically no visual obstacles for her to not see me, i have 2 lights on the front, i could have sworn she made eye contact and as i am rolling by slowly she puls out fast, and i am literally inches away from being infront of her so i have to avoid her by swerving hard and i yell out to her for her to stop in a panic and she slams on the breaks and then guns it and gives me the finger as soon as i am past her
thanks lady
