Small size frames. I been thinking about that and maybe a range made for women, that would depend on demand though. I do have few of the original frames left in small, c to c 44?. They have sloping top tubes. The new batch wont. Again this is all based on demand. 32 flavours, what size top tube are you running? |
I always thought that the WSD moniker was kind of bogus.
|
I'll give you something with a WSD.
p.s. no, but after adding the red rubino's to my cart I saw the light blue prorace's and thought that they would work well for my next colour scheme. ;) |
32 flavours, you could give my girlfriend's bike a spin. Its really just too small for her so I have been keeping my eyes out for a new one. Anyways, the frame is a 48 cm (c-t I think) urbanite with a 50 cm top tube in navy blue, Tig welded 4130 cromoly steel. 74cm standover height. let me know if you're interested... or if you have any 54-56 steel road frames lying around:D
Edit: Oh yeah, I took out this lady turning onto hoskin from queen's park crescent today. Traffic was moving really slowly on the bend and I was going by them at a moderate pace. All of a sudden some well-dressed lady with a bright orange coat darted thorugh the space between the moving cars directely in front of where I was going to be in about a half of a second. At this stage I pretty much knew I was going into her as there was curb on one side of me and car on thge other side, so I bust out a polite skid on the wet slippery road and crunch into her real good. She didn't even see me coming, so she hit the ground pretty quick and I landed with a nice soft thump right on top of her. She luckily covered up the puddle with he ass so I didn't get too wet. She gets up with a wet, dirty ass and coat and a scraped looking hand and pretty much disappears into one of the campus buildings after I and a few other people asked if she was alright. Then one of the dudes standing there said "I totally saw that coming for so long... I don't know why I didn't yell something!" and another dude said "Awesome! Nice shot!" and another dude said "That totally wasn't your fault dude" and yet another guy (who kind of looked like Albert from La Carrerra but younger) said "The peds have been acting crazy today!" All in all a fun experience!\ Edit: for those of you with TV is was just like that Moore's men's clothing comercial where the guy gets taken out with a bike but less serious and I landed right on top of her. |
Alright i just got my shipment from probikekit. Let me go get it.
Oh and uh, no extra charges on it. So it was $50 shipped for Look cleats PC48 chain Rubino pro deda bar tape Edit: Shiznaz, HAHA. |
Here is a diagram:

Shiznaz, that diagram is ghetto fabulous.
Re: the bike frame... I am tempted, but cannot afford a superfluous frame right now. Perhaps if you still have it in a few months... |
map completely to scale ... lol!
I just took my cdn tire mtb for a spin. most comfortable ride ever It had a large red basket on the back as well. And fenders. |
I'm surprised that type of collision doesn't happen more often. I've had a number of close calls and am probably due for a full force one myself.
P.S. Forgive my manners for not asking straight away... How's the bike? |
hah.. yeah, I take that turn on my way home every day and I've had a few close calls. In fact, I've taken to going around the other side of the turning traffic because I've been nearly squeezed into the curb a few times as cars take their 5km/h "racing line".
|
Shiznaz you should submit that & the other piece, pic(art)? Holding the kripto & bike to old school track.

nice Shiznaz,
I too can confirm hitting a ped on the Queens Park Cres. as it bends down towards college. Back in January a woman was running from the center park across 4 lanes to the west side of the street. Just 'clipped' her arm though and neither of us hit pavement... but she was swearing a blue streak at me as it happend. Made me kind of wish afterwards that I would have totally taken the fall for the reward of plowing directly into her...probably better it didn't happen that way though... that whole area is a bad spot for people running across with or without looking is there a cv happening again? |
*looks outside*
Gonna shoot a weatherman |
T'was the full mooooon Shiz. Good to hear you didn't get wet and melt away.....lol
The diagram almost made me blow coffee out my nose. Glad to see the Visual Communications training hasn't been wasted. :p I swear that diagram is my desktop for a bit. Shiz you have a 48.....my Cramerotti is a 48 as well..... I'm not liking our odds at tradin' up. How many bikes you want 32flavours?:D quick question..... years ago when I bought my monster Krypto lock it came with a 2500$ guarantee. NOw that it could be possible to open it with a 5cent bic pen does the guarantee still hold? I see the new ones have the flat key. |
You're pretty much screwed ... for a few reasons:
- You have to hold an existing insurance policy on your bike (Kryptonite pays above and beyond the deductable) - You have to get your bike appraised and send in that paperwork (+ lock receipt) within 15 days of purchasing the lock. - There was the whole lock-exchange thing that went on for a year or so. I'm guessing part of that process involved voiding any guarantee w/ the older style of lock. Also (vaguely related), I have a question about the Kryptonite guarantee fine print that I found confusing. It states that you need to have pre-existing insurance coverage for your bike. Buuut ... if your bike was already insured (ie. home owners insurance, etc.) why would you need the extra Krypto insurance? I've never had actual insurance, but could you save some cash by insuring your bike for $500 ($250 deductable or something) even when it's been appraised at $1000 (and have Kryptonite's policy cover the rest)? Either that, or the whole guarantee thing seems completely redundant. *shrug* |

NOw that it could be possible to open it with a 5cent bic pen does the guarantee still hold? I see the new ones have the flat key. Go to the Kryptonite web site and sign up for the lock replacement program. All you need is the number off the key, and you get a brand new lock. I got two new locks this way. |
