Rob, so, are you gonna finish building it by the end of next week, before the donut ride?

I'd love to, but I'll have to make some good progress on this BULL**** Flash project I've been working on first (instead of just floundering away at it like I have been).

riding the don this afternoon, likely with a newbie friend. anyone in for a relaxing tour of the intermediate singletracks? If some of you come out im happy to race around a bit whilst the new guy catches up.
I was riding completely rigid yesterday, and I have to say it rocks serious ass. You lose a bit of control if you pick the wrong line on rocks/roots, but for everything else Im pretty happy, climbs like a goat, tracks beautifully on downhills, and feels lovely all around, and shall I mention I saved nearly six pounds off that crap stock fork I had.
Need fatter tires though. And new wheels. And bars. And levers. And shifters. And stem. And fork. Dammit.

Anyone want to do a short ride for Charlie sometime this month?
It's either that or I'm just going to go out and punch a cabbie in his honour.

A 1926 race on the Scarborough Beach Velodrome.
For a full size version go to https://www.toronto.ca/archives/photographs/index.htm, go to advanced search and enter item number 8167. It's the second record.

i'm in for a memorial ride. i can't believe it's been a year. time flies.
I'm glad you guys brought this up. Benway and I want a coming DSR ride to be for Charlie. Same as last year, meet at the fuel and cruise around. We first wanted to talk to his family about bringing a group to visit. What do you all think?

Im sorry I dont know Charlie, what happened to him? I hope Im not being insensitive guys, dont have to answer.
Im having a beer with what seems to be a chipped shin and a happy sense of all being well with the world. Trail season is the best time of year, I just need greaves.
