*Full disclosure: I have a vested-interest in the bicycle industry. Some of the time.

Goat milk, cheese and meat is repugnant to me. I can't explain it. It is not something I just don't care for. The taste to me is foul. I can't force myelf to swallow it. Lamb has some similar character, and also especially gamy venison, but nowhere near as powerful. When I hear someone talking about how "tangy" goat cheese is, I have to laugh. Tangy...right!
Best I can figure, it is some genetic peculiarity. I have only met one other person who reports the same response. No other foods produce a similar reaction. Anyone ever hear of this?

Nope, just you. I'ma meta-vore. I'll eat anything.
When I'm in Europe or in a foreign country or fancy restaurant, I try to order the most unusual thing on the menu. Haven't regretted it once. Well, there was that chicken head one time in my paella in Mallorca...

So apparently this guy is being skewered by the inter web running community for self cheating.
It's amusing and sort of familiar.

I did get an email from Steady Steve, he's ridden that route three times. He thought he was pretty strong yesterday and is in better shape than he has been in the past when he has ridden it. But he was 30 min slower in his moving time than his previous PB. I think the wind might have been more of a factor than either of us realized. Its the only thing I can think of that would have affected us both.
And, lol, I was out on a recovery ride this morning and who should I run into but Steady Steve and his wife. This is the third time that I've been training for something with some married male friend, off for full weekend days on some very long course, for weeks on end, only to have his wife renew her previously waned interest in cycling.

they have been thorough.
Cliff notes: ran only part of his qualifier marathon to get into Boston (beginning and end). Likely would have gone unnoticed, but made himself inter web famous by calling out his daughter's principal for sending an unexcused absence form letter for going and watching him.

I agree with @rjones28, even though he's a shill.
I like goat milk and cheese, but it has to be fresh. It gets funky fast.
