Uh huh. My wife wants her parents to move back to MN to be closer to family in their golden years, yet they keep objecting to the weather and not being able to go out in the winter. In the meantime, they live in a place where they avoid going outside from spring through fall... makes perfect sense.

My wife is trying to coax me into moving to Phoenix to be near family when she retires. I love her family, but otherwise why! 8-9 months out of the year you're hiding behind A/C. You can't even ride your bike until sundown or before sun up.
I'm always amazed at the extremes people will go to to avoid the cold. I LOVE the cold. Builds character.
