A) Kudos for taking her out

B) WTF did she do to triple her income?

I used to uber every now and then, but gave it up because it was almost a net loss.

I will 100% inquire about "B". She did accounting for a golf cart rental/buy/lease place, then worked another full time job. She had a millionaire boyfriend for a while so I'm sure there's some trickle down there that I haven't scraped the surface of. I showed my cards very quickly and told her i am 'not' a millionaire :p.

Sometimes I think I'm doing okay, then I find out quickly that I'm stupid AND poor. lol.

Hey, she went to lunch with you. That's better than drunk snapchats. You're climbing the ladder.

A local Bill Murray movie fest this weekend reminds me how much I love the movie "Rushmore", going to have to watch that this evening.

Sounds like an opportunity to 'sleep' your way up the ladder.

Punk rock girl, it makes me sick. Your dad's not the vice president. Your dad's the Duke of Earl. Yeah, you're for me punk rock girl.

One of my favorite love songs. R.I.P. ********** and Dave Schulthise (a/k/a/ Dave Blood), of course.

Wow! The censor dinged the name of the former Philly punk store that's mentioned in the first line of the song. Admittedly, it's a derogatory term for an Asian person, but that was not how it was used in that context.

Since they presumably had soup, I FIFY.

Woo hoo - NAS and HDDs are here. Setting up now. Beer and swearing imminent.

I'll blame it on their fancier bikes and wheels, though.

Have you considered new wheels? You should seek recommendations. I mean, you could piggyback off of one of the several thread going on in the 41 right now, but I really think it appropriate to start a new thread tailored to your specific needs.

What model pivot did Mike Hall used to ride around on ?

Those are my wheels - I like it already!

Though minus points for not running them tubeless.

That's literally Mike Hall's bike, RIP :(

WhyFi 05-11-17 02:06 PM

Well that's a bummer. Sweet bike, though. I've been trying to figure out how to ask the wife to let me take an epic bike-packing trip, too...

indyfabz 05-11-17 02:16 PM

This morning I was informed that, absent exceptional circumstances, a Saturday night date is implied.

I need to figure out how to take an epic bike packing trip in general. And then make it a reality. Oh and a friend to bring would be nice too. :p

You don't have to be so coy. jtaylor996 seems to enjoy your company too, you guys can just admit that you want to bikepack together.
