Sure.
Anyway, I'm short, thus the 165mm arms. I've got a complete Campy Record group, all carbon, but it's been spoke for. I've got an alloy Campy triple crankset somewhere but I've got plans for it. |
Well done Heathpack.
Heal up quick everyone who has had surgery or injuries. I had a tiring weekend. drove 6½ hours to do a organised bike ride; next day do a moderatly hilly 130km ride in cold conditions; next day drive home. Lessons learned. do some training. particularly do hill training. At least I beat the broom wagon. On the plus side I got to catch up with some friends and got to ride the main state highway with very little traffic. And once the rain stopped on the first hill and the sun came out the scenery was worth it. |

My week's emotional roller coaster continues.
https://scontent.fphl2-3.fna.fbcdn.n...55&oe=59BE2AE7 Did my Sunday group ride. 30ish riders, all experienced racer types. Young kid allowed his front to overlap with another guy, some unexpected movement happened, and he went down about 3 riders ahead of me. We were at about 28mph so I had nowhere to go, hit the kid's bike and flew up and over the pile. Landed on my left elbow and skidded a bit. Helmet bruised my forehead but otherwise my head is intact. Left shoulder has some stuff going on inside, currently waiting to see doctor. EMS came but I was able to soft pedal back to my car. Bike is scratched up but fortunately the worst damage seems to be a bent hanger, dodged a bullet there. Anyway, these things happen. My kit is very bloody but fortunately it wasn't shredded. Gonna be sore for a few days methinks. Oh and thanks for the positive thoughts this week, and congrats to Heathpack! Great result and you look full on Darth Vader badass in your aero gear. |

Dan333SP No good! As was said, may as well get all the bad finished up, and start fresh next week. Heal well, and hope things smooth out.

Sounds like a legit CL ad. I'm sure you'll get lots of responses. |
Thanks guys. Ended up getting some stiches in my elbow because a chunk was taken out, down to the sinews and such. Not s good look. Shoulder probably is just sprained, the rest is road rash. Left knee must have twisted awkwardly as well because it's painful to walk on, but nothing torn.
Annoyingly, I'm between health plans with the job transition so I'll now need to sign up for Cobra to extend my old coverage a couple weeks. |

If it's not watchable on Netflix or Hulu I just don't bother. I did make an exception and picked up starz to watch American Gods.

Those books were great, but not worth paying to watch the show. Hopefully it'll end up on Netflix before too long.

Get your trainer down? I considered screwing a cleat into my cast to ride on the trainer when I broke my heel. |
