We get plenty of OTA TV stuff.

There's a channel that plays Death Valley Days for me Death Valley Days - Grit

and one that has Columbo for the little lady Columbo | COZI TV

The only thing we ever think about paying extra for is BASEBALL, but we've never pulled the trigger, cuz $113 for a season of baseball, or even $88 for a season of your team only seems kinda crazy

Mrs. rjones28 mostly watches YouTube cooking channels on her iPad. I don't really care about TV. No cable required.

Pretty much. There are a handful of shows that we'll occasionally watch, but they're typically available via the show's web site.

One of the pics of my cousin's newborn from yesterday. Even with an infant at home, it's easy to forget how damn small they are when they're brand new.

I think I've decided on the O bike for my ROYGBIV collection. I figure it'll be more affordable than a Merckx...

Since they are plastered and textured walls, I'm afraid they'll look worse when I get done.

Why do wives always think we're the jack of all trades and always dream up stuff for us to do? Why is the "Honey-Do List" recognized world wide?

Pro tip to you bachelors out there: show girlfriends as few skills as possible early on. It's called investing in the future. I mean there's a reason men die sooner than their wives . . . and part of it is because we WANT to. :(

If it's not watchable on Netflix or Hulu I just don't bother. I did make an exception and picked up starz to watch American Gods.

In with all the others. Yeah, we don't even watch the news anymore (too depressing), there's plenty of football on broadcast that can be picked up with a tiny indoor antenna at great quality (perks of living in the capital), and it's really easy to have Netflix + Hulu and find things to watch. If you're dead-set on a certain show it might be difficult, but when you're after background noise or something to watch during dinner, it's really really easy. And the $22/month or whatever it is for the streaming services is crazy cheaper than anything Spectrum offers.

Still stuck with cable internet though. If phone data wasn't capped I'd cut that cord too.

I just switched my mobile plan to unlimited data. :)

Sprint's "unlimited" data is 10 gigs. I'd need more like 300 gigs.

Fixed.

Now that I traded away my Quarq, I need a new crankset for the Allez. I'll go Campy, but which one?

Could use the Comp Ultra Over-torque:

Pro: good prices, get to buy a new tool.

Con: may use proprietary bearing, Campy seems to have abandon the tech, assembly tool is hard to find

Could go with Record Ultra-torque:

Pro: plentiful, well-established tech, no special tools needed

Con: pricey, need a bottom bracket conversion, don't get to buy a new tool

I have no idea how much DSL/home data I use. Never needed to know.

Then a good show pops up on Amazon Prime like "Bosch". Gotta watch "Bosch".

Sure, but it has to be more than any limited cell service allowance. Unlimited cell data could work for a home hot spot, but it would be a lot of aggravation. And you couldn't use the phone and the computer at the same time...I think.

My week's emotional roller coaster continues.

https://scontent.fphl2-3.fna.fbcdn.n...55&oe=59BE2AE7

Did my Sunday group ride. 30ish riders, all experienced racer types. Young kid allowed his front to overlap with another guy, some unexpected movement happened, and he went down about 3 riders ahead of me. We were at about 28mph so I had nowhere to go, hit the kid's bike and flew up and over the pile. Landed on my left elbow and skidded a bit.

Helmet bruised my forehead but otherwise my head is intact. Left shoulder has some stuff going on inside, currently waiting to see doctor. EMS came but I was able to soft pedal back to my car. Bike is scratched up but fortunately the worst damage seems to be a bent hanger, dodged a bullet there.

Anyway, these things happen. My kit is very bloody but fortunately it wasn't shredded. Gonna be sore for a few days methinks.

Oh and thanks for the positive thoughts this week, and congrats to Heathpack! Great result and you look full on Darth Vader badass in your aero gear.

When all else fails, there is always luck to fall back on. ;) Glad you are more or less okay.

Wow dan333sp sorry you're having a rough time lately. Not many would be smiling after such a pileup.

That could have been so much worse though.

Speaking of road rash, I've found that a feminine napkin makes an excellent huge bandage when things are really oozing.
