Turning off the notifications seems to completely defeat the purpose. That's why I spent all day tweaking position and sensitivity settings so I'm not getting false positives.

The blink stuff seems to fix all of the firmware issues people report with the Arlos. They're a lot cheaper, too. That's not to say the blink app couldn't use improvement, though. But no deal killers so far.

Nope. The purpose was to make my neighbors happy. My turning off the notifications on my phone doesn't affect that at all. But seriously, if you stop to think about it, the whole thing is stupid. The most valuable part of the kit is the sign you paste on your window that says you are protected by video cameras. You can't attend to 25 or 50 or alerts a day. It just isn't possible. The best use for the cameras would be for forensic purposes after a crime like on TV, not prevention.

Also, #HondaSucks

It's just nice to see a guy happy to win. Rossi seems like a good driver (at IMS at least), but he had no emotion last year. Taku and his crew were beyond overjoyed, it was fun to see.

And clearly Honda were right on the edge between power and reliability, it just sucks that Alonso and RHR were the victims. They were my 2 favorites on the day.

The running joke on another forum I frequent is how IndyCar has gone "full indycar" when chaos reigns and weird **** happens. That race yesterday was "peak IndyCar".

Nah, that was just a good race. I was at a race at TMS one year and they were doing twin races (like 2 races in the night), and some lottery thing in between to get the starting order on the second race. Not a single person in the crowd had a single ****ing clue what was going on the entire night. Thank god I had free suite tix/catering/Pit Passes/VIP parking that race, or I would have been mighty pissed.

That's what peak indycar means, to me, at least. The intentional chaos just for ratings. On the same thread, I can't even watch 10 minutes of NASCAR now.

I finally decided on a crankset to replace the Quarq on my Allez.

I'm sitting at 3730 km, which is pretty close.

I'd say that you win. ;)

I've been researching this, and if a car isn't a pure sports coupe regardless of bhp (i.e. the Porsche 911, Corvettes, Ferrari 385 etc. are true sports car coupes, cars like the BMW M4 is just a coupe, the only true sports car couple Audi makes is that exotic $100K+ model, that's very fast) can hang with my stock Z-51 Stingray on a race track. They may be faster in a straight line but for some reason pure sports cars like the C7 and the 911 corner more effectively and turn faster lap times on any track you wish to name.

Did you see this:

Peak IndyCar. I like it. Looks like they are putting on the show now, and Nascar is going full Nascar.

Downside: no new tool acquisition required.

Just buy yourself a new tool anyway. to treat yourself for buying a crankset that doesn't require a new tool. WhyFi would.

I could get a bearing press to replace my homemade tool.

He doesn't look like he drinks enough beer to live in Wisconsin.

Something fishy about that guy :)

Perhaps. But the Stingray is one of the most comfortable cruising cars I've ever owned. And by far the fastest. Like the move I pulled today: 500 meters to the exit, I accelerated to get in front of a line of cars heading for the same ramp as me. The quickness of the car is just astonishing.

Move to Texas and it'll be burned into your memory.
