I was talking to a guy a couple days ago who was telling me that he took 2nd on an uphill Strava segment. I pointed out that he was on an E-trike. 
When I asked him how he felt about that, he just shrugged his shoulders.
Man. I wish Strava could figure out a way but I guess its like e-doping on the indoor sites.

Not me. I did Hamilton once, New Years Day 2000. The climb is long but not hard, but when I got to the top, it was cold and foggy and every stitch of clothing I had on was soaked with sweat. A dozen or so cyclists were huddled in the Post Office lobby, trying to warm up before the descent. It was one of those things that I'm glad I did it, and feel no need to do it ever again. But I do understand the draw.
