What frame did you get, was-bmxer?
Hey, I have absolutely no sympathy for anyo ne who whinges about pricing and availability here. Between us, Patty and I can get almost anything way cheaper than even WHOLESALE pricing here. The only thing stopping you guys cashing in on the savings is a bit of organisation and a bit of faith. I can have a complete '06 Record group on my doorstep in 10 days for about the same price as you'd pay for the cranks alone over the counter. Anyway, if anyone wants the hookup for the goodies, you know where to find me. :o :) |

When you buy anything in this country, never mind bikes: 1. Costello takes a huge cut. 2. NSW govt takes a another cut. 3. GST. You can't win. GST was meant to get rid of all the other "taxes". This hasn't happened. |

... Jumping one gear, I've usually been able to adjust it out (doing like you said) but I was in 53/17 when I jumped on Satdy and the POS went to 15 then straight to 14... lucky the bloke on my wheel didn't run into me. Never jumped 2 cogs before. I'll clean everything down and set it up again. See what happens, but I think the frame might have something to do with it. |
you might have to take some paint off to see if that's a crack near the drop-out

it went into paying for the olympics, which ironicly we are still paying for.... i know that the olympics was the straw that broke the camels back as far as rail infrastructure went, its all been downhill from there...

I do miss Oz. We had 5 pubs within 5 minutes walk. On the bright side, the missus is thrilled that she can get a bottle of beer in a restaurant for $2, and a 6 pack at the store is only US$6.
|
Yeah, it's only worth 2 bucks, that's why. :)
I don't get Thursdays paper. Whats the deal with the parrot? Hey, I'm on dial-up. Nothing flies for me. |

I just forwarded that article onto my wife. She did the visual assessment for that windfarm, and is doing another one just north of ballarat at the moment. From what I understand, the parrot thing is a total red herring. Our reliance on coal is a total farce, and here we have a federal government looking for any excuse it can to avoid Kyoto or any alternative power source for that matter.
I wish I knew we voted these ****ts in so I could smash them in the face. Good deal on the Colnago, was-bmxer. I mean, I wouldn't buy one, but....you know. Fark, 3750 is more than my custom Ti. That's a lot of coin extra for paying some old Italian guy to spray 'Colnago' on every tube in black spraypaint. |
