Racing the old wheels tonight.

Going to come back to work afterwards to pick up the wheels.

Besides, I can't have dirt on them before I put them on the scales.

Chain started muck'n up today. :( I thought the grand kids had fiddled with the adjustment again cause it was jump'n like it had too much tension on the cable but all effort to adjust the bugga, failed. After check'n it tonite, it seems that one pin has let go on one side. The out of line chain, is actually clipping the dropout at the wonky link. weird.
I'll drop it off to Eddie S tomorra for a new chain. (name dropper :D).

Odin 04-27-06 04:05 AM

*dashes orf to check chain links*

I was there for Part 1 and some of Part 2....missed part 3 and you are still going in Part 4.... You guys need a show on Channel 31 or something!!

HDTVKSS 04-27-06 02:20 PM

SJP, unfortunatley seinfeld has allready done the show about nothing!

Thylacine 04-27-06 03:49 PM

They're talking about Cadel on RRR right now

Wheel Report:- 1740g with rim tape
A little heavier than expected. I forgot to include nipples in my calculations. Think they may have used brass nipples too which are a fair bit heavier than alloy.

Race report:
FGP Dirt Crit Results - Week 3

Picked myself up a 5th in A. :)

They made the course way longer and droped A grade back to 4 laps.

Thylacine 04-27-06 04:31 PM

Yeah, only 240g heavier than the ZTR/SuperComp/SK wheels  Still, they'll be bomber like the Mavic/Onyx loaners which is what you wanted.

I can't believe how consistant your times are. You're like....a machine.

Was really happy with the consistancy. Everything felt good last night. Usually after 2 laps i start riding the single track like a spastic and loose time and get p1ssed off at myself. Last night was super smooth the whole way.

Jack and Ash were freaks last night. put 25 seconds on me after the first lap.

Thylacine 04-27-06 05:06 PM

And I'd be 25 seconds behind you.

Those guys probably actually train, so I wouldn't sweat it too much.

Is that not Steve Wide's Britpop show on 2 til 4?

Thylacine 04-28-06 01:32 AM

That was at 7:49am, Thunder.

I've been pilfering songs off the net all day, so haven't been listening to the radio since this morning. They didn't actually say very much....pretty sure there's more info on the net anyway for those that are interested.

mrkott3r 04-28-06 01:52 AM

Hey thy I know its great getting broadband and what that entails, but I wouldnt be shouting out that you steal music off the internet. Ive had temporary bans before on another site for discussing where to get stuff. Just a thought from a friend.

Finally went riding today, damn I hate wind even though I'm getting better in riding into it

Thylacine 04-28-06 02:38 AM

I wasn't, I was DLing demos and samples, but thanks for the heads-up. There's a thread on the SSers/FG section where guys are listing what they're listening to...plop band name into Google...go to their website...*shazam*. Freebees galore, and a great way to find out about new bands.

jock 04-28-06 03:32 AM

<-- listening to shehad, nee pacifier, nee sheehad, oh ferchrissakes make your minds up guys!!! :D

HDTVKSS 04-28-06 03:55 AM

could be worse, could be a bunch of guys in their late 20's calling themselves youth group :P

speaking of good music, SWMBO picked me up a copy of the arctic monkeys album and it kicks some major assos.
