Never mind the size, feel the width! Thanks for the tip. I'm gonna see the mob I brought it off tomorrow- might see if they can shed some light on this.

Garry won a Bremen six and an Euro madison title with Tony Doyle.

not a big rap for Wiggins junior.
I think he has a great ip engine, but his road performance has been more like Bartko/Lehmann/Escobar...
Roberts has probably had a better road career, even though they have about similar levels of experience and Roberts was with Comnet Senges a German obscure div 3 or div 2 team.
I don't think he will win this year.
I don't think he will win London next year, but would be a great story if he does at home.
I think he talks too much, he said Boardman's achievements was only a part of his own potential. BIG TALK. Lets see him deliver.

yay. I can't believe how underwhelmed I feel about it. Seems like we're never gonna a fair deal from the refs: 3 games, 3 ****ed refs. It's not like we're actually supposed to really be in the world cup, is it?
Not to worry, racing tonite. That should spark things up a little bit.

Well, I guess they need a lot of refs for the World Cup, so they get a few dodgy ones but this guy certainly set a new benchmark for sheer incompetence and lack of control over a game.
Got up in time to see the closing 10 minutes - Harry Kewell's goal was a corker!
Someone needs to go and find that Seppo dipstick who said we were only there to make up the numbers and show him the final results - didn't the USA fail to win a single game?

Have to say, not thrilled with our choice of keeper or that Aussie guy who's 'dream' was to play for Croatia, just because his parents were born there and no doubt go on and on about how great the mother country is, how horrible it is that these dreadful 'boat people' keep showing up on our hallowed shores etc. etc..
Anyway, time to go over to Foo and stir up the Seppos. Pack of losers. MWUHUHUHUHAA!

Did you guys see the part where one of the Croats was sandwiched by two of us near the goal-line, the ball came flying in and he fully knocked it away with his hand?
I was just sitting there with my mouth gaped when there was no penalty. I mean, I know absolutely nothing about Soccer, but one of the fundamentals is 'don't punch the ball away with your hand', right?

BLOOT!
Great game. Shocking ref again. No penalty for the most obvious handball? And then sending Emerson off for an unavoidable one? Three yellows for that croat? And why was that closing goal disallowed, or at least not a penalty? Crikey.
Who's up for Norton st. on monday night?

I thought there was a single whistle first? Maybe the 3rd card was for dissent, rather than a foul, and it was the final whistle. Pretty unusual to blow the final whistle in play in the box though. I'm gonna have to watch it all again

True. Should've been 3-2.
Zelko Kalac obviously felt the tug of the mother land....

Aussie ..... oi!
I pick up my new (second hand) roadie next week. 06 DBR Podium Pro plastic fantastic with Ultegra. Good deal on trademe.co.nz with money left over from the insurance claim for some better forks on my MTB. Amazingly I managed to research and make a purchasing decision without starting any threads on bikeforums - Should I buy the red bike or the blue bike?; Will I climb faster on carbon or steel? Should I spend $3,000 to save 25g? Does my bum look big in this?
In the meantime I'm riding a mates old steel Lemond roadie with 9sp campy, one size too small, but I don't have to miss any club races.

yeah, sort of, like Bartko won a 2.6 at tour of Poland prologue in 2001ish, in about 2002, Wiggins won the notoriously soft prolouge of Tour de l'Avenir.

Go Millar...anyone else like to see him win? or as an aside...care to pass comment on how Virenque was (re)-accepted and that part of his career gets overlooked by most?
