So will Vinny be riding? With CAS to rule on the Astana-Würth case before the Tour start things are looking shaky again.
Tour organisers have already sent a letter to Astana-Würth asking them not to start! Ouch.

id say hes not. apparranty an induvidual rider can protest as well as the team? may it be possible that all the riders will lodge prostests as well as the team therefore may not be yanked from the race till a week ot 2 in?
the other big risk is Ullrich's alledged involvement in all this. without him there this race will become an even bigger snooze....

You mean, it hasn't been a snooze for the past few years?
You need to go borrow out some vids from the 80's if you want to know what the tour was really like before it became the snooze-fest that it is.
*edit* Actually Wikipedia has all the results and synopsis by chronology, which is really interesting. Didn't realise in recent history Phil Anderson has been our best finisher, finishing 5th in 1985, and Cadel finishing 8th last year, which isn't too shabby for a mountainbiker from Melbourne.

Feeling better today Thylo?
I've heard of a few others enjoying the "Gastro super-abs workout & weight-loss program" pretty bad in the last week so there must be a fun dose doing the rounds...

Even more hilarious is the "How simply do you live?" thread - talk about a bunch of sad losers!
Hiring a prostitute for the night - $100, going on BF for dating advice - priceless.

Thanks for that Ozman. If I get a chance I might try and get down to "your shop" on the w/e and have a look at them. I run 10sp anyway so it's all good to me.

Someone forgot to tell the OP of that thread, that if some woman won't go out with you because you don't have a car, they ain't **** and you're better off without them anyway.
Then again, I've been to the US and I'm not sure how you could exist without one unless you lived in a decent city with a decent public transport system. We were in LA once (Redondo Beach, total sh¡thole of a place) and went for a walk to get some food then go to a local bike shop. After walking for 45 mins we asked someone where it was and they said "Oh, real close, about 15 mins away".
Ah, cool, so we keep walking.....and walking......
Oh, you mean 15 minutes by car.

The only time I found it strange when driving in the States was coming out of shopping centre car parks etc & I had to think hard about which side of the driveway I should be on.
And i agree with Tiger that Redondo Beach is a ....hole. Huntington Beach was much better - for general "scenery" and there was even some okay waves to surf.

Nah, not really HDT. More of those around on the Oz beaches I reckon. I think Seppos tend to get uptight when the full pointer appears - refer janet jackson & superbowl.....
Just in general SoCal ladies (tho probably cosmetically re-arranged) around the area were quite appealing to a young single fella on holidays..
