Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Now that's EXCLUSIVE, so much so, you can't have one!!!

I kinda liked the way she spoke fast enough to occasionally run her words together -- the exact opposite of Kathy Freeman and Kathy Watt

eh, I'm still an 80s guy who likes shiny stuff . I can't get into black components, except rims. I reckon the minor renaissance of silver rims will die off again, as will ergo bars -- there seems to be more traditional drops in this year's Tour

This Line of Conversation is Useless Without Pix.

I googled 'Google VP' and got some fat w@nker. I'm assuming that's not her?

----

Hang on HDT....how is the Campy BB any more complicated than an ISIS or Square taper? It's just different is all. No more complicated than what we already have. Not that we need another new standard mind you, but that's what big companies do to protect their sandpit.

I feel sorry for people who bought 2005-6 XTR cranks. The BCD is 1mm different from XT and the new 07 XTR.

Not THAT'S gotta p¡ss you off!

----

Existance - Apparently it costs a million bucks to deck out a TdF team with bikes. Anybody know any bankers? Actually, I'll put my money on either Avanti or "Teshleggera" to be the first to sponsor an Aussie team. Not sure if it will happen though, as you'd need to find some company wanting to do a big push into the Euro market with their products/services.

Naturally I'd love nothing more than to have Team Cascade-Thylacine in the mix, kickin' ass and handing out free beers, but let's just say that may take a few years

Of course I've already designed the team bikes and jerseys

Can you explain to this numb-nut?
I got 2004 XTR rear, XT front, XT cranks and was about to spring for some new 2006 XTR cranks...whats the problem?

How many crownies do you reckon a domestique could fit in his jersey?

Crownies? Wouldn't throw one over myself if I was on fire.

2006 XTR is great. Only issue is, if you wear your chainrings out, there's no alternatives except Shimano, and the 2007 rings aren't compatible with the 2006 cranks. AFAIK.

ps: I found the Google VP. She looks like a hausfrau. You guys are slipping!

Pshaw, wait for the new XTR cranks, they can use STD shimano XT rings instead of the uber expensive and v soft ( a ride in the mud and there finished) XTR ones.

the new XTR rings look interesting with the integrated carbon. not totaly sold on the derailer asthetics with the big X , they also look kinda like SRAM now. i do like the simplification of the dual control lever as

what, the new one? Weren't they just desperate to come up with anything to counter Shimano's system?
